Have you ever sneaked something else into someone's food in order for them to

eat/drink it? My husband loves milk, but will not drink skim, low fat or 2%, he only drinks whole mile. For the last week I have been diluting his whole milk with 2% and he hasn't caught on yet. When I pour his milk, I fill the glass with half whole and half 2%. Have you ever done something like this?

Yes I have. My little sister was sick and did not like the taste of her cold medicine. So she never drank, she would always spit it back up. So I put it into her juice. She didn't know the difference. Juice or chocolate milk, works every time.

I have never done anything like this except put some medicine into my childrens food as babies as they would never take it because of the taste. I cannot believe your husband has not noticed his milk is diluted because I think my husband would. I guess he is now a lot heathier and lighter thanks to you. Are you ever going to tell him or are you just going to continue diluting his milk. I would love to know what he says as my husband would say he thought it tasted different.

My husband would probably respond like your husband might. It is actually mind over matter, as soon as he finds out, yes, he will say he thought it tasted funny.

Only my kids with their medicine. Most of the time they do not notice. My son is the opposite of your hubby on the milk thing. I buy whole milk for my daughter and he complains that he wants "healthy" milk. Meaning 1% milk like I used to buy him back when he was a little chunky.

No, can't say that I've done that before. I only do it to my dogs when I have to give them medication and they won't take it by itself. Most of the time they find it in their food and spit it out, but it works some of the time. I hope your husband doesn't get angry with you if he ever finds out. Good luck.

He shouldn't get angry, he has been drinking the milk and not noticing the difference.

haha this actually reminds me of my younger brother! In the past, my brother is very choosy when it comes to eating bread which I don't understand why. He actually said brand A and brand B has a difference and so he prefers to eat brand A. What I did was to let him eat brand B but I told him its of brand A. He ate the bread as per normal without noticing a difference in taste. Then, I told him that the bread that I gave him is of brand B and not brand A(which he prefers). He then gave me a look and since then he never bothers the brand of the bread he is eating. Haha It's funny though!
