I made a list...

I did nothing memorable on the last day of 2008. In fact, I faced so much troubles during 2008, I want to forget it.

Well seeing that my back has been bothering me, not as much as I would have liked. However as long as I don't bend it doesn't hurt to much. I got some things put away. Cleaned out our closets and played online a lot. Yeah I'm so exciting.. LOL!

DH had bought a Blu-Ray player when he bought the new big screen tv on Boxing Day. He then learned that Playstation 3 has a Blu-Ray player installed in it so he went today to exchange and purchase a Playstation 3 instead. He spent $60 on a golf game that the kids and I have no interest in. So when I went out to do groceries (bad idea on New Year's Eve) we also went to Blockbuster to look at the games. We purchased a used soccer game for $20 (the combined total of the gift cards the girls got for Christmas). Then we went all over looking for another controller. Ugh! They had them in Blockbuster but 15yo insisted we could get them cheaper elsewhere... except they were out of stock everywhere else so we ended out back at Blockbuster to purchase it. Went to M&M's as well to use the gift card I got for Christmas. Wow! The stores were busy. We're sitting back and watching the Canada vs. US hockey game tonight. Didn't get on the treadmill today... only the second day missed since I started the day after Christmas. Have a great New Year!

Its a beautiful day in Austin Texas on this New Years Eve. Did help the cable guy make a bad New Year for someone as I let him in the back yard to disconnect someone. I plan to take it easy the rest of the day and hopefully get to feeling better from this lousy cold.

Yesterday on New Year's Eve, I just worked on the computer and went out to eat at a Chinese restaurant. It was very good and I enjoyed it. We did alittle shopping and came home and watched TV and saw the ball drop in Times Square. I was in New York once during that time period, but I had to leave before the celebration because my ex husband didn't like crowds.

Hi barbara! Well, unfortuanately we got some snow too! And it is really cold out there! It is only 20 degrees here and with the wind chill it is about 5 degrees or less! There is a wind advisory for tonight with wind gusts expect up to 45 or more miles per hour which will blow the snow and make it colder and more difficult to see. Along with the icy roads it is a really bad night out! I hope that alot of people who were planning on driving will think again! I am not going anywhere, but I hadn't planned on going out anyway!
