How easy can you adjust to changes in life?

I get so angry with my husband. I lost my job almost seven months ago. With the way things are now, I have found it difficult to get another job. I was basically the main wage earner in the house. There are a lot of things that had to change to now accomodate the lack of income we have. The main thing is how we eat. My husband still wants the things he used to eat, and when I substitute for things that we can afford, he complains. The meat is too tough, the sausage aren't as good etc. I can adjust to anything, what about you, could you easily adjust to changes in your lifestyle?

I try the best I can to adjust to changes in my life. I understand that if there is not enough money for luxury items or certian types of food then I am going to have to do without those things. I think my husband is like yours in that respect. My husband recently was laid off and now he is earning half of what he was before. But he still wants to live the way we did when he was working. But it is just not possible and he does not understand that.

I guess women can adjust better than men, since women are more sensible.

I think I adjust to change fairly well. Some things take me a little longer to adjust to than others, but I do adjust fairly quickly and easily. I would be like, "Look it is either meat that is too tough and sausages that are not as good or no meat at all. Take your pick." I am pretty blunt sometimes though.
