Taking down the Christmas tree

well, it's that time of the year again, and yet again, we've waited as long as possible to take down the tree.
So, today's the day. I don't have to work until this evening, so I can get the tree taken down and the decorations put away.
Have you put away your holiday decorations yet? Or am I the last one?

We have taken down the Christmas tree. We did that yesterday. I was telling my husband while we were doing it, that it is alot easier to take down a Christmas Tree then putting it up. I in a way love taking it down then putting it up.

I prefer putting it up, but I do admit it is satisfying to put everything neatly away. I feel more ready for the new year.

Wow! This discussion was for last year's Christmas, I guess, but now it's only two months away for another Christmas joy!! So, I haven't even put up the Christmas tree yet and now it's about taking it down. 
Seriously, I will only put away all the decorations and the tree at the end of January because I love the color lights on the tree and it's not every year that we will have that kind of festive atmosphere.

I usually wait to take down my Christmas tree until the last possible minute. I really like how pretty and cheerful all the Christmas decorations look, and it kind-of depresses me when it's time for them to come down. With my little one walking this year, though, they got put away earlier than I usually do.
