I have had a Pay Pal account for some time now and myLot has been doing great with paying me by way of Pay Pal. However my account isn't authorized right now. If I started my own savings account would I be able to then withdraw money when I want to? Please reply.

I have my Paypal account linked to my bank account so I can just transfer money back and forth as needed. It's very convenient. So start an account and link it to Paypal. It's very safe, in the years I've had that account I've never had anything bad happen. Be careful because you'll get phony emails that look like Paypal, asking for your account details. Never reply! If in doubt, forward the email to spoof@paypal.com and they'll tell you if it's legitimate.

I don't know what you mean about being authorized? Do you have a bank account?

Yes, you can.. Due to non-availablity of the Saving account in your name, you have not authorised your paypal account right?? So, you can open the savings account at time, onec you open your bank account, you just fill the bank account details at your paypal account, they you can withdraw the money from your paypal account to your respective savings bank account. The name and the addresses which you have given to the paypal should match with your savings bank account, especially your name. You have to ensure this. Because they will check your identity only through this only, when you give your Credit or Debit card numbers, your details will get it verified with the details which has been provided with that linked Credit / Debit cards and the paypal. Have a good day.

I thought you had to have your account authorized before you could even do anything with the account. But yes if you would start a savings, checking, whichever you like at your local bank you can have paypal deposit your paypal funds into when ever you want.
