Are so uncomfrotable!! Why is this? This past tuesday went to the hospital to be induced so we were in the OB department we ended up having to spend the night but my oh my that bed was uncomfortable. I just don't understand why they don't make the beds more comfortable when they know most patients (especially if they go to OB) will be spending the night. I hardly got any sleep because i was so uncomfortable.

When I was pregnant with my twins I had to spend nearly a month in a hospital bed. Not my idea of a comfortable night's rest. My back ached and I tossed and turned most of the night trying to find a comfy spot.

However, I did find some comfort in my pillow, I was able to bring mine from home.

Hey, Actually the hospital bed where I slept was quite good. The only reason why I couldn't really sleep is because when I broke my wrist I had to sleep with it at a 90 degree angle. But the bed itself was rather soft and comfy! Happy Lotting!

Gee, I don't know but you are right. They are always hard, not just hard but almost lumpy. Nothing about them feels right, and even though you can adjust them, it doesn't help! When I was in the hosp having my daughter, I remembered that I could not sleep at all because any time I lowered the head of it so I could lie down, the baby woke up and would scream.... lol. On top of that they would come in and take vitals practically every hour and I had some sort of medication for my elevated bp so they were checking that. I was shocked that I was not black and blue all over after 3 days from that stupid bed!
