Does beauty help people overcome depression? I know when I'm outdoors in a beautiful setting, listening to music, reading a great story, laughing with my children, etc., that makes me feel a whole lot better. What can you do to bring more beauty into your life and how would that improve things for you?

There are a lot of factors that makes us happy. Most of it we get from our family or friends. Having a good laugh is one of the best things that could relieve depression. I guess for me to be able to bring beauty in my life is basically to stay happy with my family and think about all the good things that I have. One thing that I'd really love to do one day, is one whole day of being with my family in a place where in we can see all the beauty of nature. Just thinking about it makes me feel relaxed.

going on a nature tripping can be very relaxing, it can help us unwind and feel more recharge. it can also help us overcome stress cause by everyday living and pollutions from the busy city life. i once in a while unwind to some peaceful and relaxing place to recharge and escape life's problems that are bugging me. of course i cannot solve those problems by mere escaping but going to some scenic and fresh spots makes me think clearly.

That´s amazing how little things can bring beauty to our lives. My pets they bring happyness to my life. And my mother, what would I do in this life if it wasn´t for her. She is my best friend for all times, difficult and good. My blessing.

I have found a new way to get rid of those negative thoughts, especially when I am on My Lot. I listen to my playlist on playlist.com, I have all my favourite music there and it certainly helps with my posting. I also enjoy beautiful settings and I just love the countryside, so peaceful and tranquil! Books are another form of escapism and I love to indulge in those! Andrew

ya, i agree with u.Let me tell a simple thing,if we have to study from notes or something like that we use to prefer studying from a thing written neatly. No one likes to read from a book appearing like medical prescription and so do many things. I think they will give a look of fresh environent in this busy and tired world. I will just like to do everything in such a way that the relations i am having with people associated with me wont be complicated.

I think that you bring great ideas to the table when it comes to seeking the beauty in life. I agree that beauty and the great outdoors and what it has to offer is great for the mood. I usually feel a lot better by doing the things that I enjoy like spending time with my son and looking outside at the beautiful day. I think that I should walk more often in the sunshine to pep up my mood more regularly. I shouldn't stay cooped up too much in the house.

I do believe that beauty help people overcome depression. it is not direactly as we thought. it changes us from our heart. being beauty make people feel good, so they can be more confident, be more happier,be more easier to get along with others. and all these things can make people get rid of depression. when i go out, i always make up, and being beautiful, it will make me feel good, although i am not happy before i am out.\\\ a nice day!!

Well, sometimes its unavoidable that we feel depressed for the day..but for the health its not a good side, i believe in Meditation which will balance our mind and helps to be normal at situations.

Well I try to make sure that you keep the normal upkeep you know washing your hair, taking a bath daily. It is also very nice to put on make up and fix your hair everyday. I try to get out in the sun when it is nice. Vitamin D is supposed to help depression. I try not to stay cooped up in the house all the time as it is not good. Go do little nice things that you enjoy. Think of others and how you can help them.
