When you're feeling poorly or achy, what do you do to make you feel better?

I'm feeling all achy at the moment, but I should be having a full-body massage tomorrow, so that'll help. I'll also go and have a bath shortly. I wondered if there's anything different that you do in that situation.

A nice long soak in a bath with lavender or tea tree bubble bath and a big daughter who knows how to massage. These work for me.

That's a really good idea too, the lavender is calming and the tea-tree is antisceptic and antibacterial and antiviral. (I recommend tea tree for lots of things!). :) Yup, you ARE very lucky to have such a wonderful and tallented and errrrm, friendly and helpful and errrrm........forgetful big daughter. ;P

Ibuprofen and bed for me Dory. I am a wimp. A full body massage sounds good, but I have yet to sample such a delight. Although I was offered one in Singapore. I just stuck with a foot massage though. Enjoy and I hope that you feel better afterwards.

I take Ibuprofen before I go to bed at night, if I don't I'm in too much pain to sleep, (from the arthritis in my knee). If you ever manage to visit my Mum, let me know and I'll give you a free treatment, if she's still letting me use her room for them. :)

I've told her that I shall aim to be up before Easter. Now I have another reason to visit!

If I feel achy and it's something strechable, like an achy back, leg or arm, I'll have a big stretch, but if it's something not stretchable, I'll try to rub it (like if it's my tummy) or if that doesn't work a warm bubble bath usually works. If you can't get the ache to go away, yo should probably ask your mum and then if she cant help go and see a doctor.

When I'm not feeling well I just want to sleep. I believe that is the best method of ridding your body of any aches and pains. With such busy schedules these days we often don't find time to get enough sleep and our bodies eventually have to tell us about it. I believe the aches and pains are the body's way of saying hey slow down a bit and take care of me. Hope you get to feeling better. I'm sure the massage will help. But remember to get some rest as well.

I'm a Holistic Therapy student at the moment and that is exactly what we've been taught. If you're ill, it's for a reason, listen to your body and do what it asks. Actually, I didn't really get any sleep the other night. I'm feeling much better now though. Thank you.

I crawl under the covers on the sofa with the remote control and a cup of coffee or a glass of coke, after taking about 4 Advil.. After a good nights sleep, if I don't feel better, then I know that I am getting some kind of bug and that is a very different story.. Hope you are feeling better..
