She Said Sorry...

Just wanna share a few happy moments with my baby girl. We were playing in the best yesterday while I'm lying down Janel grabbed my thumb and bit it. I screamed in pain but it's tolerable of course. Her teeth cut it a little which made it bleed but it's just a very tiny bleed. I showed it to her and told her it hurts. Her smile disappeared and said "Sorry Mommy." I hear say that word but that is because she hears it from TV. Now she learned what the word really meant. It just feels amazing to notice such simple things done by our children isn't it? Any of you guys have similar things to share?

That's simply cute. Isn't it really heartwarming for these things to happen with kids? I got a nephew who can't talk very well yet, and it was funny because he can't say mommy, but he can call me 'tita' our native tongue's version of Aunt. It's cute, with their cute voices and innocent faces. Whew! I just love kids at these moments, let's not talk about when they're really in their terrible 2's just yet! hahaha

it is just very sweet. it means she has understood somehow she ha sdone something wrong. I get amazed at my infant nephew when he expressed his gratitude in his own way after I helped him to b e in lap of his dad.he is just 10 months old.

ohhh you're daughter's so sweet. Those are some situations where you would know that kids are taught really well. Maybe she doesn't only hear it from the tv, but from you also. When my kids had done something that makes me sad, they also apologize to me, and they give me something to drink and embrace me, as a way of making peace offering... :)

Young children are amazing ,watching them understand the world and learn to reason. They are like little sponges that soak up anything they are told.Mine used to follow me round asking questions and trying to understand the answers, sometimes getting it wrong but you try not to laugh and try again. It is a funny world for them to discover ,what will happen if I do this,?what will happen if I say that.I used to love walking them in the countryside and show them all the birds ,trees, bushes ,grass, stones and hedges everything I could see. There little faces looking and watching and learning.Going to pre school to play with other children is a great way to see them deveop all those pictures and paintings, they all had to go up on a wall somewhere my house was a gallery for two kids and later again for number three.Wonderful memories you carry for all your life, and even now make me smile and keep my heart warm.

That is really sweet and I am sure it was a really special moment for you I think it amazing watching how children learn and develop and they use their newly aquired skills. I do not have children yet, but I know how lovely it is to witness my nephews doing something new.

Hi It is nice to hear newly learned words from kids. How old she is? I have also one small kid (he is going to be two in April) so that I can understand the ecstasy. He is also learning to talk and if he can't say the whole thing he is trying to express by way of acting and make us understand what he wanted to convey. It is really funny and enjoyable too. He is slapping his brother and then saying 'soyi' (sorry) and kissing him to make him happy. Please enjoy with your daughter and convey my love to her. Best of luck.

It's a proud mother's feeling. Mothers delighted when their kids learn new things. Mother and child's relation is heavenly. As a father I share this feeling of mothers.I know a interesting story of a kid.My one close relative's little boy says to his playgroup class teacher you know nothing. My Mommy knows every thing. It's an example of child's love for mother.

oh thats is just so sweet and divine. Kids are really adorable. This is an age where words like SORRY, LOVE, THANKS have no meaning anymore. Nevertheless, you know that your kid meant it. And it feels nice to know that there is still some good left in this world..

Neither of my children ever bit me or hurt me so they never said sorry till they were older and learned how to hurt with words. One of the boys did something cute, though, when he was about 4 and helping me with the laundry--he told me he put my "br*#st holders" in the bottom drawer because he couldn't reach the top drawer!

Hi yuna! I think that is sweet! And it's a good way for her to learn what's right and what's wrong! It may not have been a good thing that she did, but she learned from it and she learned how to use a word! It's always the little things and the little steps that children take that mean so much!

If my oldest daughter (she's only 2 1/2)does something to upset someone or hurts someone, she says I sorry, I didn't mean to. Then she wants to kiss where it hurts.
