They think that women with extra estrogen may be more likely to cheat

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28645176/ apparently women when they have a higher level of estrogen they feel and are perceived as more attractive which makes them more likely to cheat, dress more provocative and do risky behavior.. do you think this is right or just another cop out for people that dont want to take responsibility for cheating? i could see if giving more self confidence and beauty and everything but when it comes down to cheating it sounds like the old "a mans got needs" (only this time for females)type excuse that we have heard forever when men stray..

people are always looking for some justifiable reasoning to bad behaviors, regardless of what the behavior may be. its hard to understand the why`s of a situation being just simply "because" serial killers must have a brain tumor, child molestors have some chemical missing from their brains, rapists inherited their aggressive behavior from a relative, etc etc. everyones always looking for something medical to blame things on so no one has to take esponsibility for their own actions and admit to the fact theyre just a filthy scumbag waste of flesh. on a lesser scale from the serial killer, and back to women just looking for a capegoat for their own behavior.. theyve been doing it for years already anyways. "i have pms.. thats why im acting this way!" while a small percent of the population might actually suffer this condition.. pms is usually used as just an excuse for acting like a c*nt 27 days out of every 28. really makes me dislike my gender

lol well it annoys the hell out of me. everyone nowadays has some sort of "disorder" to excuse rotten behaviors. i have pms, im bipolar, i have a sugar imbalance.. its a copout and a want of a get out of jail free card because people choose to act like a55holes to everyone around them.

I feel it's possible that it may play some role in cheating but I think this will just become an excuse for people that are looking for an excuse to why they cheated. Instead of saying, yeah I did it, I can't control my behavior, etc, they'll start saying that because they're pretty, and have so much estrogen, that made them cheat.

yeah it could be a reason but it may be used as the ONLY reason so it can be an excuse type thing

i have also heard about this.i think this is a form of selfjustification.if this was right,GOD would have made two male for a female.!!i dont agree to this theory.

I do not know about the theory you put out. But I do find the article an interesting read. It makes it like it is now possible to blame a woman's adultery to her hormonal levels. "I didn't want to do it! My hormones made me do it!" It certainly is going to make things more complicated.

I have never connected that one either....I can see where they would want it more but not necessarily cheat! I think people with low self esteem are more likely to find someone that makes them feel attractive!

I think it's possible and at the same time can be used an excuse by women. This is interesting though, and you know how hormones are. I think it's somehow true. My sister has high level of estrogen, she had check-up at an ob-gyne before due to menstrual problems. She has this sort of attitude that she can attract every male who lays eyes on her. She's really like that anyway.

i dont doubt that it would help you feel prettier and that would attract people but i think when it comes down to cheating people still can say no.. but it would be interesting for the people we know that are highly um flirtatious to get checked lol
