With your laptop cords do you....

With your laptop are you one of the type of people who just shove the cords mouse etc. into the bag in a tangled mess? Or are you one that rolls everything up neatly? OR are you one who rolls it all up neatly AND ties it with twisties? I've come across all three types of people with laptops being dropped off to be fixed. There's also a forth type that says what you need a power cord for it? because they NEVER bring the cord. Which are you? I wind mine up and tuck them in my bag.

I roll my cord up for the computer and it has a fastener on it. My mouse if wireless, so I only have the cord that hooks in the laptop and into the wall. I put them neatly into my bag. I don't like to see cords all tangled up.

I love wireless mice - i have one thats rechargeable but the cord to charge it is retractable so you just push the button and it winds itself up.

Now that is neat! What kind is it? I have a Logitech and I really love it, but it does use batteries! I had it a long time before I ever put any in it. But now, it seems it just 'eats' them.

Sometimes I'm tempted to say that! I actually obtained a spare cord so i can leave one wound up in my bag and one plugged in at home. (gotta love ebay!)

Funny you should ask. My husband and I are sharing my laptop, so it travels a lot between my bedroom and the living room. I am cursed when it comes to cords. Every cord I touch turns into a tangled mess. We have the charger cord and the internet cable that tend to get tangled up.

My sister is like that...she can have a cord all neat and tidy that someone else put away but as soon as she touches it its like a tangled web.

I tie it neatly since I need to take my laptop almost daily for work. Therefore I need to tie everything neatly including the mouse cord and the battery wire in order in the laptop suitcase.

I wrap the cords neatly and use the little velcro straps that came with them to keep them neat. I do it mostly because I don't want to have to deal with a tangled mess later, but also because I think it is probably better for them, will make them last longer. And I never go anywhere without the cord, since my battery doesn't seem to last very long, I plug in whenever possible.

When I use a laptop I always roll the chords up neatly. My daughter didn't and it cost her £60 (about $70) to replace the charger!

Chargers are expensive...some of them are even more than the $70!
