The best way to give flowers

ha..ha...really Youless....I think the best way to give flowers is in front of so many other women.....Not only will this make the woman proud ,but the look of jealousy in the eyes of other women will be a treat to watch too......

I see. Sometime we guys feel shy to give flower in public. What if the girl reject the flower. Very embarrassing. It is not only that the women proud when receiving the flower in public, the guy also will feel proud because he is accepted. What I concern is if we receive negative response. Not only the guy get humiliated, it will worsen the relationship also. So it is better to give flower when we are alone, not seeing by others. :D Happy Mylotting!!!

i had that experience too.we went to shopping,he said he is going somewhere to look around but when his back he gave me the flower.yeah great feeling.the feeling was more likely a kiss!hehehe

Yeah, I think so.It feels great when receiving flowers in public, esp. in a crowded public.Unless you are too shy to accept admiration in public.

For most women, I think that is true, but I know one or two who would not like to be noticed in that way.

Not this woman. Flowers to me mean an empty apology that he never means. I have sen too many films where the guy is cheating or doing something worse and he gets flowers for his wife " just because". If my guy got flowers, I would wonder what did he do wrong that he will Never tell me. So I will tell any man I am with to not give me flowers. I would prefer little stuffed animals.And it can be " just because".

A lot of women would consider that as flattering... because many will see the beautiful flowers given to her by the man... and many will think that that man is deeply in love with her... i agree that a woman is prouder if given flowers in front of a big crowd...

i think if my husband ever gave me flowers... and in public... i'll die of shock !! because the first time and last time he gave me flowers was on our first date - valentine's day 1988.. almost 21 years ago !!... but i dont mind.. 'coz even if i dont get flowers.. he gives a lot of other good stuff..

I think that is a very nice sentiment. There is nothing like getting flowers at work or having flowers delivered to make a woman's day. Flowers at anytime given in any fashion though is wonderful.

youless, Let's me first say that your title of this discussion actually caught my attention. After reading it, I nearly fell off my chair. I don't know about you and where you got the idea that the best way to give flowers will be in the public. Actually, I just beg to differ as I have seen with my own eyes how this very act has backfired. Let me relate. First, there was this couple, they must have had a tiff the day before. So, comes prince not so charming with a bunch of roses and I was expecting some surprise exclamations and a hug to follow from his girlfriend. Nadah! What ensued was the most descriptive expletive in the dictionary from the girl and that bunch of roses ended up on his face and then the floor stomped. Then, there was a restuarant incident, and the girl actually said this: "I told you not to buy flowers already! It is just simply a waste of money." Further, "If you have so much money, then give it all to me for shopping!". Last but not least, the statement of the year that really had me shaking my head: "Did you do something wrong behind my back for this bunch of roses? Come on, out with it, I will forgive you on account of this BUT don't expect me to forget." Wow! There are more, but if I go any further here, I think the whole women charter will be coming at me! All, I can say is that we need to be careful and a little more discerning here. It is better to understand our partners well, and some girls today just do not like them at all. No? Disagree? How do you think Panty roses came about? IMHO, I feel that the best time to give these will be when she least expects it. After a hard day at the office, 3 stalks of roses for her would have made her day. Or, after dishing up a nice meal, she finds flowers in the bathroom to refresh and rose petals in the tub for her bath. Or, she is having a bad day at the office, with the children or friends - a bunch of her favorite would and could save the day. Timing and understanding is of the essence here my dear friend. But wouldn't some women actually be embarrassed to receive flowers in public? I guess it depends on the lady in question and the guy would know whether their loved one would jump for joy at the lovely show of appreciation and affection in a public place. Do you think it's strange for a guy to receive flowers, because I know it sounds strange but I would love someone to buy me flowers, but I guess that is not very macho is it for a man to receive flowers. I have to admit I have never given flowers to a lady in public, maybe that is why I go wrong in life LOL!

I only tried it once to give my wife a bunch of flowers in front of her work of place. But she was so shy that she almost pushed the bunch of flowers at my face. I think she was so shy of her colleagues. I was so upset that she never ever ever received another bunch of flowers from me.

Good Day youless, I believe giving flowers in public is a sweet thing. After reading some other points of view though, I must say it is a good idea to have a feel about the response possibilities ahead of time. Because there are some women out there that will give negative response but most will like it very much...Mamablaze!!
