Has anyone ever read stephanie meyer's "The Host"? What did you think about it?

I simply loved the book. it had so many different twists and turns that i never knew what was going to happen! i thought it was going to be a typical predictable sci fi book but i wasnt! what were your thoughts about it?

I really enjoyed it as a story, although, when you look at it, not much happens.
but the relationships between all the characters, and how they develop over time, in a stressful environment, and with one of the invading alien parasites among them, and how they respond to her as an individual, rather than just as a parasite is really great.
I was very happy with the way the story turned out at the end, as certain developments for the Wanderer were quite upsetting.
I really enjoyed it.
although I did enjoy the Twilight series more. but I do like her writing.
I wouldn't say that she's technically a good writer, as there are a lot of flaws,
BUT,
she does tell a good story.

i think that her writing is going to get so much better as she keeps writing.
she is a younger new writer and has much to learn.
her stories are quite entertaining. i just loved following the wanderer. i felt
like i could have been the wanderer in parts of the book.

I think she can improve, certainly.
I mean, the best writer in the world can't make you care about a bad story.
but a good story can be written by someone who isn't a great writer, and so long as the story is compelling enough, it will be worth reading.
her stories are very good.
I expect that her writing will get better. but as long as she has such good characters and ideas tucked away in her head, the stories will be worth visiting

yeah i often wonder how she came up with her characters.
like a parasite taking over a human body? she made such
an interesting plot out of it.

i am not familar with Stephanie Myer's work but it is something I might be interested in reading sometimes. it hink she is the author of the twilight series.
it is a series that is very much read here and people are really interested in.

yes she is the author of the twilight series. and her work is very interesting so i reccomend it for you if you havent read it!
