Does anyone use Associated Content?

As a hobbyist writer, I publish on AssociatedContent.com all the time. I like the fact that I can publish my essays/papers/other work with the potential to get paid for it and get exposure. I've never met anyone else who uses it, and I was curious if anyone on myLot was familiar with it? I'm interested in hearing other peoples' experiences with it as a site and with writing for it as a hobby.

Quite a few people on Mylot write on Associated Content. I have a few articles up, but I'm pretty lazy about writing the kind of stuff that I can get paid for. I usually wind up blogging, which doesn't pay me anything, though I hope it might, some day. It's the best site for upfront pay, but it can sometimes be a pain, waiting for approval and an offer.

i agree, waiting for an offer is sometimes frustrating, and all too often they turn down pieces i otherwise think are worth something! they used to be a lot more lenient about term papers and articles, paying almost double what they do now for research papers and the like. it was nice to earn a few bucks and some recognition for papers i was proud of in college. i've even had people cite my work sometimes in their own papers, it's kind of neat!
