Ever have a day where...

You feel like throwing your hands and screaming "Ok I give up you win. You have beaten me down" Well that is how my day is going. It started with my doll not selling on ebay, then my boss called and said I am off the schedule today due to slow business, then I was trying to put together another doll and got almost done getting the arms and legs in (involves a lot with cable ties and not easy) when I realized i have two right arms and no lefts. I can't find the left arms anywhere. This is the last straw for me. I give up. I am throwing in the towel. I quit!!!!

I just gave in for the day. I was back at it the next day. Still haven't finished the doll yet though. I have had to be at work a lot and haven't had the energy or time to mess with it. Hopefully will get to work on that tonight.

I have had those days from time to time. I guess there are some things I can do that get me aggravated. Sometimes dropping or spilling something or losing something can make your day bad soemtimes all of the above happen on the samd da or you hear some bad news about a loved one. There are some bad things that can happen.

OH no! that is worse then having two left feet. I guess by now you have made two right arms. I hope you are feeling better now. Good luck with selling your dolls.

Yeah, many times in my life as a wife, mother, employee, daughter that I gave up on certain situations..it's really draining physically and emotionally and I learned that if we don't recover from it right away, the emotion will get us into deeper trouble.

Oh yeah, I've had plenty of days like that before. It's very easy to feel that way when you are frustrated. It's the kind of day when you just wish you could just stay in bed all day until the next day. Don't worry though, tomorrow will be better.

Yes i do, once in a while that day comes around and it just seems like the day will never end. I try my best to get through the day, when the day is over and it is time to relax i let it all out on one of my favorites games, "call of duty 5, halo 3 or one of my computer games."

LOL Hope your bad day didn't carry over into the next day. I've had days like that as well when I finally just give up and stay inside and do nothing.

I'm sorry you had to go through this! Yes, I've had days like this where every single thing I attempted just went horribly wrong. And, yes, I felt like giving up, throwing in the towel, and giving up completely. I hope you have a better day tomorrow! It's great that you have an outlet here to vent your frustrations!

Yes I have had days like that but what came to mind was a situation with which a cousin of mine is faced. She has two daughters who are sickly and has cost her a fortune in medical bills so far. Unfortunately the older girl is a sickler and the youngest had a stroke at birth which affected the left side of her body. The parents have to be spending for the services of a physiotherapist for the youngest and both children have to be monitored regularly by their physicians. Recently the older daughter was hospitalized and things did not look very promising for her recovery. She recovered but her lungs were damaged. She became ill this week again and had to be taken back to the hospital. The mother stopped by our house this morning on her way to fill a prescription for the smaller girl as she had to rush her to the hospital this morning at approximately 3am. It has been discovered that she has asthma. The older daughter was in so much pain when she was taken to the hospital yesterday morning that she had to be given morphine. I remember days when the mother could not help but cry because of all the distress her children faced as a result of their medical conditions but even this morning she just kept laughing. It is almost as if she has come to the conclusion that there's nothing more she can do but continue to give her children the best health care she can afford and she and her husband have really done a well to ensure the kids are well taken care of and comfortable. We cant help but throw up our hands sometimes when all seems to go wrong for us. I know though that there is always someone who has it much harder than I do. It is not easy. Like you I have quit many many times.... only to pick up back some time in the future when things have calmed down.

How about the last three years? I have severe depression for two years and now am having bouts. It isn't fun. I have social anxieties and panic attacks. I am moving into a new environment so hopefully alot of these things will change. But, throwing in the towel is ongoing for me!

Hey sweet! Ok now! You can relax! Maybe tomorrow will be better! Some days are just like that! I have many of those kinds of days. Too many than I care to think of or admit! So maybe if you go to sleep and wake up tomorrow with the sun shining and start again it will be a much better day! All you can do is hope! That's what I try to do!

I used to have a friend that made dolls and she ran into that same problem one day. It was very frustrating for her but she did not give up. She just laid it aside until she could get the parts she needed then she finished it. Her dolls were so beautiful, just thinking about them makes me want to get back into some craft work.

I'm sorry you had such a day. I know the feeling. I've felt like since in September I recieved a letter from a my college telling me I was ready to start my intership. However, I was not cleared by the office and had to cancel. Canceling met a one year wait. So, I'm grading about 5 months later than I would have. So, now I have to wait 16 months instead of just 11 months. Try to sleep it off. That helps me.
