I am beyond stupid. I followed the links from a myLotters website to sign up for an affiliate programme. "It's all free" they said. Ha, apart from the $10 a month web hosting fee. I really don't know what came over me as I know that all these things are scams. Have you been beyond daft recently?

Hi, Yes it is I..I guess I get a reprieve and get to keep my net till Monday..because when I got home from spending a few days with my mom I figured I would check and it is still on. Yay for me. I am sorry to hear about that. I have joined things that people sent me or asked me to join and when I did I found that I didn't like it at all..or that it cost money. I try to only stick to the free stuff. Well daft would be me all the time..lol but I have had a few stupider then usual times.

I guess we are all have done this. I joined IMVU because my sister in law sent me a invite..then I downloaded it didn't like it and uninstalled the same day..then she got mad and so I had to reinstall which took me 3 hours when I installed it with my dial up..I used it one day trying to talk to her in it but it kept crashing hers and mine(it is meant for higher speed net) So I uninstalled it again. It asked you to send invites so I signed into my yahoo thinking it would let me choose who to invite but it didn't. But I also found out that to stop being a Guest_mtdewgurl74 and to get the full benefits of using it that I would have to pay.

I am usually so careful with these things Becky. However, I lost control of my senses with this one. I'm glad that you are still on.

If you ask, no problem. What caliber do you prefer? And how about last meal request? Do you want to be shoot for that $10 you didn't pay? $10 per month for hosting imaginary website is a lot... This is the worst MLM on the market, I am not sure what they are hosting...

Beyond daft lately? Yeah but not as daft as you. lol My stupidity centered around putting primer over the trim in the kitchen and then painting it before the floor went in. So when the floor was about to go in all the trim had to be ripped off thus wasting all the time and effort I used to prime and paint it.

I must admit, I also read on here about a free great money making site, but only luckily I happened to read it cost $10 a month before I signed up. So, yes I was stupid too, I suppose we should know you really can't make heaps of money off any site, and no one is on this site to make heaps of money ,just to have discussions and voice our opinions:)So don't worry, your not the only one:)

I wonder if it was the same one? Anyway, I have given them no money so I'm happier than I might have been otherwise. I have learned my lesson.

i'm sorry to here you got conned and im sure you are enfuriated with yourself but you are not the first and cirtanily won't be the last. i used to work in internet telly sails for a well known web hosting and directory company for 4 years selling to buisnesses and i can asure you there is a little to do with bright shiny adverts and a lot to do with phycology its called method selling e.g we would have a product say worth £199 and we would go into a call saying it was £299 then you would gain there intrest by proving the service work give examples etc be really enthusiastic and then you would tell them the price when they said it was a bit much we had several things we could offer them like free domain names wider area to cover etc and then if they were still unsure we would put them on hold telling them we would speek to a manager to see what we could do then come back on the phone and suprize suprize we had a deal just for them and we would drop the price. it sounds harsh but all sails is done in the same way. that new car at a discounted price or the half price sails on elctrical itams or the buy it now prices all done the same way. so please don't blame your self everyone gets cought out at some point me included i once paid for something for a whole year that i never used and cirtanaly didn't want

I haven't given them any money and they don't have my band or CC details. They'll have to sue me. However, as it's "free" how can they do that?

have you been on and had a look at there terms and conditions there will be a cooling off period, but you will have to push to get out of the contract if they can keep you waiting for them to respond to you till your cooling off period is up belive me they will so make sure you hound them till they give you your money back, also by law in the uk you have a minimum of 14 days cooling off perid for any contract so look into it if they make it difficult for you to get out of it in the uk if you mention trading standerds you usualy get your money back pritty quickly

It happened to me last year, but not because of a website affiliate program but because I trusted someone on Mylot who was interested in buying some of my sons clothing that were in very good condition. I sent her the box of clothing and never got anything in return. Many emails and excuses later ... I gave up. I bet you were glad you never signed up or gave any personal details online.

Not recently, I don't think. I used to be very daft, though, and believe all those money-making schemes. I almost shelled out money for a couple of them but luckily, I didn't have it at the time! It's amazing to me now, how many people fall for those things but then I remember how naive I was a few years ago.

Ah come on pike... you know better than that. Don't tell me you actually gave them money ? There are so many sites out there that say that they will help you make thousands of dollars for a 1 time fee of... N dollars, and actually people that actually fell for their scam are the ones that make the owner of the site rich.

I know that's not from me...lol. I don't follow links to affiliate sites. Articles, yes,but affiliates no. Sometimes, it happens and it makes us wiser, no need to regret P1. No one is perfect. At least you're not one of those who shelled out money and lost it in the process. Happy mylotting.
