Well, now that the Democrates have control of the House and the Senate, how is that going to change our lives?

I think it will have changes in the country. I think there will be amnesty for illegal aliens, which is millions, perhaps as high as 20 million. I believe the democrats believe they will have their votes, and thus control of the country 'forever'. - I believe there will be a return to the pre 9/11 mentality; I mean we're almost there now.. And also who will ever try to overturn any potential sources of roving WMD's, since the effort against Saddam has been so thoroughly villainized and cursed/hexed almost from day one. So, I believe terrorists will be strengthened, and multiply and after awhile the ones in the U.S. now, raising and sending home money, will find it time to rise up. - The jihadist recruitments in our prisons (and in the nations) will continue.. - Now that less than half the country cares about the brutality of abortion, I think judgement/consequences will be coming..[Taking the lives of babes has put us on borrowed time, but now the trend will surely be quickened.]

I think they will mess up everything that George has done.... and leave us, as a country, vulnerable!

Over history you will find more people save their money when republicans take office (thus the tax enacted on unearned income) and more people spend money when democrats take office (because they don't want to give it all to the government in taxes)!

Certainly not as much as many people hope or expect. Anyone in the USA has more power to positively affect their own life than does any Senator or Congressman. People who wait for government to make their life better will likely wait a long time.

this is absolutely true, and because of our ingenuity we survive even the worst government statues, like sending as many jobs overseas as possible there for creating the mandatory need for us to become self-employed in whatever way we can, sell our homes move in with family, improve our health by walking because we can not afford to drive due to the exorbitant rise and fall of gas prices, etc., yeah there is nothing that we in the USA can not overcome - we are the best at making lemonade out of lemons.
