I have been seeing too much of this lately. It makes me sick the way these morons walk around with their pants hanging off their a$$es!. Why don't these loosers just pull their pants off. When they did it when I was in highschool back in the 90's, they used to wear baggy pants. Now these kids do it with the skin tight jeans. It's not a fashionable thing. It looks retarded. I don't see any white kids doing this. Just the black spanish people. I am black myself, and it makes me sick the way these young little dummies walk around looking stupid!!

white kids are definetly doing it too.my town's full of them. when i was going to school,if your undies showed they laughed at you. but back then, they all had the "untied shoelaces" thing going on where they let it trail behind them.that was equally stupid.i guess they liked falling down the stairs a lot, cause you just know other kids stomped on 'em.

Now the untied shoe laces thing I can deffinitely say was a white boy thing LOL. Don't think I can say too many of us black folkes did that. How about the pants with the real wide baggy bottoms that drag on the ground. I don't get that at all. I can't stand it when my pants touch the ground even just a little. The untied laces I don't get at all. I can't see the point of having dirty shoe laces. I'm very clean with my shoes and sneakers, so having my laces dragging around the dirty streets of NY is a no no!

This drives me NUTS, too! We moved our nephew in September of last year and became his guardians, and he wore his pants like that before he became part of our family. NO MORE. We told him right up front that, now that he's in a structured environment, he was going to look civilized. I'm not trying to put these kids down or their parents for allowing them to dress like this but, seriously, it looks like these kids are crying out for attention most of the time.

My nephew and his friends didn't do that - they like looking like idiots no matter who they were around. It was so frustrating. When he lived with his mom, I constantly asked her why she allowed him to look so stupid and she'd say, "if he wants to look that way, that's his problem." So, I decided she was just as stupid. LOL

I'm not sure if the parents let their kids dress like this. I would be very surprised if they are. I would think that most of these punks wait until they leave the house and pull their pants down once they are away from their parents supervision. And when they get home from school, they puill their pants back up again. At least I hope that's the way it is.

Then don't look at them. People can dress the way they want to dress. This is America.

It's hard not to look when everyone is doing it. People are free to dress how they want. But ther's a difference between freedom of expression and plain stupidity. It's a stupid and sloppy look. Wearing baggy jeans is onr thing, but having them hang down for everyone to see your underwear is not necessary. You stickin up for these dummies, you must wear your pants like that!

First of all, not everyone is doing it. You don't have to look in that direction. Look people in the eye or look at a wall or at someone who doesn't. Now, the rest of it all is just your opinion. Maybe some people would take a look at you and say you look stupid for how you dress. It really isn't your business and I'm pretty sure you aren't the dress code police. The fact that you're claiming that I dress in a similar manner is a baseless assumption.

sorry but who are you to judge really!!! How do they look retarted I think thats a disgusting thing to say, it IS fashion admitadly not a very nice fashion but so what, and I see plenty of white kids doing it aswell, they are not hurting anyone are they and lets face it you dont have to look at them stop looking at their bottoms and start looking at their faces!!!

I do look at their faces, and all I see are dumb a$$ morons! It's hard not to look or notice when it's every where. I live in NY, and I see this on just about evry corner, store, in the street, or just about every place that I walk into. Even people that are working like delivery men are doing it. It's a trend. It's not fashionable at all. white, black, purple. whatever their color is, they look like idiots. I don't care if they are not hurting anyone. They still look like idiots. Screw those litte punks! The majority of the kids today are piss a$$es! Not all of them. A small percentage are respectful young adults. But the rest of them can go jump off a cliff, and maybe they can use their baggy pants to catch some wind and use it as a parachute! But of course I'll be at the bottom of the mountain shooting holes through their pants. Stop looking at their bottoms. Maybe if their bottoms were properly covered, I wouldn't be able to notice. As low as these jerks wear their pants, it seems like they want everyone to see what brand of underwear they have. I don't have no sympathy for them little snot nosed punks!I'm even more shocked to hear from some people that the girls are doing it also. The hell with all of them!!!

Blame these Rapper for promoting that. I wish they knew its significance, if you dont then i will tell you. during the slave industry slave had to keep their trousers low so their master can wip them if the didnt work. it just followed through and became normality even after the industry and now its reached the stage where it has become a fasion statement.

I don't really think it's a big deal.. but you'll be happy to know that's kind of going out of style where i live has a lot of white kids and I see a lot of them with pants down i live in canada tho but I've been to the US a lot and was born there i've moved a lot too so i've seen a lot of different people/places I think it's kind of going out of fashion it seems like some kids do this to follow fashion (which means they'd stop if it wasn't IN) or they are just lazy slobs lol

oh yes, I really don’t know what happened to etiquette and decency. On top, its hanging below their butts showing the undies (someone should tell them that these are called ‘under’ wear,) and at the other end, its always sweeping the streets (ughh how dirty). Wonder who washes their pants for them…I’ll never wash such dirty pants for my son if I ever see him wearing it that low. Worst part is that the girls are doing it too! and its not about black and white or baggy or skin-tight for me…dressing is an important part of our persona and as young adults, we should learn how to look smart in later life and not sloppy and cumbersome.

It's all about fashion trends that those kids are trying to get along with their new-found styles and clothes. We couldn't do anything about them. They follow what's hot and what's not in fashion. It's so disgusting to me because their butts exposing over their low pants doesn't look like an unpleasant view to me.

That's the one thing I hate about this world. Fashion trends. I hate it when every one follows a ceratin trend. Some of todays singers like chris Brown and Trey Songs wear their jeans like this from time to time. They wear the skin tight jeans. And that's where these dummies get their style from. I saw Trey Songs on BET last year. He had these skin tight jeans pulled down below his a$$. I wanted to call the show and tell him to pull his f#cking pants up! He looked like an jacka$$!

There is plenty of white kids doing it too. And I agree, do they really think that looks cool? I really don't care to see what color their boxer shorts are. And they even do it with jogging pants, really stupid looking. I do know that if a kid looking like that came in for a job interview with me.........they wouldn't be getting the job. They don't have a clue about the importance of 'first impressions' before they ever open their mouth.

I would hope that any of these morons would be stuoid enough to walk into a job interview like that. A few years ago I was walking in the mall, and this delivery guy had his pants sagging down. How the hell do you do that in a place of work. A man in a delivery uniform with his pants hanging off his a$$ is very unprofessional. I almost made a complaint to the companys about it. That's how mad it made me to see that.

We do have some kids wearing such low cut pants around here. They think they are cool or that they follow fashion, but to me, it's nothing cool about it. These kids look pretty stupid to me. We even have some weird kids wearing almost skin-tight pants where one leg is black and the other is white. These people are weirdos who do not know how to feel embarrassed. Fortunately, not many other kids subscribe to such fashion. I'd say part of the blame for all the low-cut pants lie with clothes designers and manufacturers. If they do not put such clothes out on the shelves, people won't buy and wear them.

Pants with different colored legs are wierd. I'm not sure if you can blame it on the designers and manufacturers. These guys don't design their jeans to hang off your butt. They make baggy jeans, and the kids take it upon themselves to pull them down. But it has gotten to the point where they do it with the tight jeans as well. The only solution is too enforce a dress code, or just stop making pants lol.

i think this is a trend on the rise and yes it's absolutely disgusting. Half the time i feel 'it's now going to come off! '. I would however blame the parents for ths. for instance my kids dont wear them and i am sure your kids too don't . So it has to be with the approval of the parents, and ....

This was a fashion trend when I was in highschool, and it seems it's coming back in style. I can't say it has anything to do with the parents. I really don't think these kids leave the house with their pants that low in front of their parents. The wait until they get outside and down they go. Many kids can leave the house looking decent, but once they get to school, they change their whole look.

'Why don't these losers just pull their pants off...' you had me laughing there. My older brother does the baggy pants thing, and it shows half his boxers. We all have the nasty habit of pulling them down so the he pulls them up next time. Thank goodness that in this household, we're not allowed to wear low-cut pants. So there's no saggy pants nor butts for girls in here.

That gets me even more. Back when I was in high school people sagged their pants because they said they were too tight. So the jean companies made the baggy and loose fit jeans, and the morons still pulled their pants down. What a bunch of dumb a$$es!
29 Jan 09
I absolutely agree, although in london all kids do it regardless of their colour. It makes me want to either give them a belt and tell them that they obviously need it, or else give a little tug so that their trousers fall around their ankles and everyone laughs at how silly they look. It really doesn't look cool!

I would love to sneak up behind some of these low lifes and pull their pants completely off sometimes. Watching them wiggle and squirm, kicking their feet trying to stop me from pulling off their pants.

It's not flattering when you actually see their bum sticking out, but if they have a shirt covering it there's no problem really. I don't get it either really, but it's nothing that I bother to annoy myself over...

Dear friend, May be they are using the freedom of dressing to the fullest extend may to a limited and censored extend could be better. But I hope every individual is dressing may be mostly by their own personal comfort and interest. May they need to be more careful of the society while dressing.

Plenty of people do it and they all look ugly. Whether its with baggy pants or skin tight pants pants are meant to be worn at the waist and I really wish people wouldn't do it. Maybe they think the pants are easier to get off though and they want things more accessible for certain things. Who knows I don't do it I'm in college I never did it in Highschool and I actually don't see many people do it now maybe we are all finally maturing and hopefully as people get older they realize it looks stupid and stop.
