M daughter woke up crying every 2 hours last night. She has been miserable all day. I realized about noon today that she is cutting 2 of her 2 year molars. Now I feel bad because she was miserable all morning and I did not know why. Are molars cutting normally hard on kids? I don't remember how my son was with them.

I think all children are in pain when they are cutting their teeth. Adults are even worse so much that most people have their wisdom teeth cut out when they start coming in. Those little chew rings that you can put in the freezer are pretty cool. They are filled with water so after a while it helps to make the swelling and pain go down for the babies. Of course, there's also oragel.

She keeps asking me to rub her gums, so I know they are bothering her. She just fell asleep on the couch with the dog, so hopefully she will feel better when she gets up.

Bless her little heart. Don't you just hate to see them in pain, especially when they are so little. I guess maybe that is why we can't remember very much from we are that young in age. I hope she feels better when she wakes up too. Have a good evening!

When my kids were teething I used the these all natural teething tablets...I can't remember the exact name of them but I know they have them in like every grocery store baby aisle. They helped alot and like I said they were all natural so it is something to look into. Hope you get a little sleep tonight, oh I don't miss those nights my kids are 6&7 so we wake up with other things like nightmare but still not too often. Good Luck!

I don't remember it being particularly awful for any of my kids. My toddler cut all his teeth at once, I didn't even realize because the doctor told me about it, he was not even a year yet, and she did say that even his molars were coming in. Since then he hasn't gotten anymore teeth. The little one still only has 8 teeth, I'm waiting for his back ones to start coming in still. Not sure how he'll handle those, he's already constantly miserable for no reason.

My son's molars were pretty bad when they came in. I would suggest picking up some Hyland's homeopathic teething tablets. I used them when I accidentally discovered them when my son was teething and they are a GODSEND. They absolutely make it less miserable for everyone and they are completely safe for your child. You can get them at Wal-Mart and at most pharmacies.

All kids handle thing differently your son might not have even felt anything. Have you tried those ice pop's? You know you can buy a big box of those for like three to five dollars. Put them in the freezer and let her suck on those all day they won't hurt her and they will sooth the pain. And, at night I would you baby oral gel. That works great at night. If you still have any problems put some oral gel on an apple and celery and anything she can chew on it will numb it and help the teeth break through. It will help it go by faster. Good Luck and much love to the little one's. ** Peace and Love get's you through everything in Life **
