I've been surfing the net, trying to look for hair care tips for dry hair and dandruff. I found good articles on these two subjects, but the problem is they contradict each other. To care for dry hair, you should shampoo your hair just once or twice in a week. but to minimize dandruff, you should shampoo everyday, lathering and rinsing twice. do you guys have any advice? :-/

Dandruff can be removed by massaging the hair for half an hour with curd which has been kept in the open for 3 days before going to bed. Next day wash the hair with a Herbal shampoo.Avoid spicy and greasy food. This is an Ayurveda home remedy

Dandruff is a result of a dry scalp, of course the more you shampoo the more you are drying out your scalp. I would suggest you use something that will moisturize your hair and scalp. Have you tried using virgin olive oil on your hair and scalp as a conditioner and moisturizer? You should put the olive oil on your scalp and hair, put on a plastic cap, and let it stay for about fifteen to thirty minutes. Then rinse out and shampoo, see if there are any positive results. Good luck with your hair.
