Limiting how much you drink can help. Maybe by setting a limit it will be easier not to overdo it. The problem with this is ofen times heavy drinkers won't stop with their limit.

well i used to be heavy drinker, and i was ok when drunk, but it wouldn't take much for me to fight. my thing is now i will drink until i get buzz and then stop having to know your limit is the goal.

If your friend gets delirious and aggesive its not a very good sign, some people should just not drink or drink to excess. The hardest part abot someone having a problem with drink is that they dont think they have a problem and can not see the effects it is having on them or those around them. Its not untill the person themselves admit they have a problem that help can be given. It is very hard to tell someone they have a problem beacuse most of the time they will deny it and become defensive. I do hope your friend will be ok.
