Hot or warm water?

I soak my dishes in boiling hot water and then when the water is still warm I wash them.

i wash my dishes with warm water daily and in cold season i use little hot water because ordinary water will be cold here. we warm water also ,i can clean dishes and clothes neatly.

My brother used to wash dishes when he was in high school and they used very hot water to wash in--this was more than 30 years ago when the smaller restaurants did them by hand! Then the rinse water was cold because that made the soap come off better. Try it, it works great.

I rinse them off in hot water but then we put them in the dishwater. I am guessing the water in there is pretty hot although I have never actually been inside of it while it was running. Come to think of it I have never actually been inside the dishwater at all. I have pulled my kids out of there a few times as they were trying to get stuff though it was never while the dishwasher was running. I think without the hot water germs might be able to survive.

I try to get it hot enough but not too hot. I can't wash dishes in warm water or cold water. It has to be hot.

I use just lukewarm water to get the food off, then let the dishwasher sterilize them. If I didn't have a dishwasher then I would definitely use hot water to wash them.

I use a dishwasher that is very hot. Sometimes it dosent work, goes on the blink, and when I do them, its always with very hot water. I remember my aunt always put a drop or two of clorox in her dish water..

Well I don't wash dishes hehe, but I think hot water is better as of my previous experience LOL :P .

I like to use pretty hot water. Not enough to burn my hands but hot enough to clean the dishes good.
