Hi, everyone! I am a girl from China. In China, we eat with chopsticks and it is convenient. Now I am curious about whether you can use chopsticks. Please tell me if you can use. If you cannot, it doesn't matter. Welcome to China and try it!

I can use chopsticks but nit that good. I sometimes get frustrated when using chopsticks especially when the food is slippery. i can't eat it right and it just forces me to use the spoon and fork. I am still learning to use them well. Hehehehe... Did you also had a rough time the first time you used a chopsticks? Is it really that easy once you get used to it?

Certainly i can use chopsticks to catch everything i want to eat, beacause i am a Chinese too.I think maybe it is not so easy at the first time, but if you get accustomed to it ,you will find it easy to use,and it is said that it will improve your mental developement if you use chopsticks,is that true?

Well I am from the UK, and I cannot use chopsticks. I have tried before only once to use chopsticks to eat some noodles, but I couldn't do it! I did try really hard but I was no good. I will try again next time, a little bit harder!

Yeah I'm a pretty good chopstick user. I prefer the ones made of wood and plastic, but I totally despise those made of metal, I just can't get a good grip of it.

I have tried using chopsticks. I love chinese food and would love to eat it with chopsticks but I just can't get the hang of it.

hi, when my husband and i eat at chinese or japanese restaurants, we prefer using chopsticks. We also have chopsticks at home, the metal ones and we each carry around wooden chopsticks in our bags in case we wanted to eat something and don't have any utensils with us. We usually use spoon and fork at home because we eat on plates instead of bowls. We use our chopsticks at home if we intend to eat in from of the television hehe.

I am in the usa , but i have always loved chinese food and we go to a chinese restaurant all of the time and we have all learned to use chopsticks. It is much funner to eat the food with them.

i use them when i'm eating my noodles. And though i'm chinese, but the way i hold my chopsticks are wrong. But to me, as long as i can grab food and stuff them into my mouth, i'm happy.

I love eating with chopsticks - especially my Chicken chop suey and sushi. I'm pretty good at it and if given the option, I choose them over a fork. I'm from South Africa. I bet you didn't think we could use them over here! :-)

Hi, happyforever. I am from the Philippines and I use chopticks only whenever I feel like using them at a Japanese or Chinese restaurant. It took a while before I learned how to use them. My problem begins when the rice gets too drenched with soup because it becomes difficult to pick up with the chopsticks! But then, I can always turn to the old reliable spoon to pick up the last remaining grains of rice.

Hi happy. I use chopsticks when eating. Me and my mom do. We're not from China but we have ancestors there. Anyhow, it's out of preference that we prefer to use chopsticks though we could use the fork and spoon well. Most of the people here in my place can't use chopsticks though, but there are those who can too. It's even funny that I could eat a lot and with faster speeds with chopsticks than with the fork and spoon. Do you know how to use spoon and fork?
