Have you tried this. Well I have. I went to subway and I wanted the Spicy Italian. But they were out. So, instead the cashier hooked me up with the turkey. I had the garlic parmesean bread along with it. I had mayo, lettuce, pickles, bell peppers, jalepenos, tomatoes, onions. I believe that they forgot to put the black pepper, oil and vinegar on it too. I was very glad to know that I could have the sub the way that I wanted it. I enjoyed how they made it. I also had an salad too. I had the grilled chicken breast along with carrots, cucumbers, onions, olives, jalepenos and everything spicy that you could think of. I love my sandwiches and salads very spicy. It makes it so delicious to eat it this way. I even love the philly cheese steak on a sub with melted cheese being very hot and warm.

I love Subway. I really liked when they introduced the $5 footlongs, because before that their prices had been so high. There are like 8 different subs you can get for the $5, but normally I get a turkey sub. Sometimes I get a different one just to try something new. On my subs I like to get lettuce, green peppers, cuccumbers, pickles and olives. I don't like any sauces on mine. Mmmm....Subway sounds so good right now.

Yes, I could not agree any more. Subway prices were very high! For a foot long, it would have cost you close to $7.00 if I am not mistaken. That is why I choose to get it this way, I hope that they keep this deal forever!

Yeah, they were about $7, which was just way too much for me. I hope they keep the $5 footlongs, too!

Oh I love subway too but my favorite there is tuna sandwich I like it with all the vegetables that you mentioned here. Every time we go out for subway, I always have tuna sandwich but I like this one you said. I might try this sometime. It sounds nice huh?

i could eat the spicy italian every day on the same bread. i have them double toast it so the bread is crunchy and the oils start to come out of the pepperoni and salami, omg now i'm hungry, but i know now whats for lunch. i put no dressing on it just in case i don't finish it because well you know it gets soggy,i do it all except the bell pepper jalapino's are fine. i tried the flatbreads but i don't particularly like them. buon appitite

This is a really good deal. They have certain ones you can get. I always thought Subway never put enough meat on their sandwiches so I did not used to go there very often. A few years ago my job was next to a Subway and I learned to pile on the veggies and condiments and the sandwich seemed much more a better deal that way. I also took advantage of the sandwich of the day( this was before the $5 deal started) and that helped to save on the price. Overall they are pretty good. I have taken advantage of the $5 deal for my son regularly and for myself a couple of times.

I have tried this before. I really love to try out new things and this one really made me curious. Well, its a little bit expensive but it was worth it. Sadly, the subway outlet has closed. I really don't know the reason why. But I kind of missed it. At least I was able to try it out.

I freakin' love $5 Foot longs!!! They are a killer deal and they taste so good... My beau and I each get one, load it up on veggies and have lunch for two days... or lunch and dinner... Its nice to know that one company understands that lower prices mean that more people can afford to spend their hard earned mylot dollars at their establishment!!!

That sounds like a good sandwich..but I don't eat at subway that much anymore, I used to eat there all the time, but now I discovered Arby's, thats where I eat my sandwiches now, they have a chicken club sandwich that is very good, and I don't think its very fattening, but of course if you have curly fries with it, then it don't matter..lol.

if i had never had jersey mikes subs i would like this deal at subway but the subways here put like one little thin slice of meat on your sandwhich (double meat MAY equal what single should be) and like if you ask for toppings you may get like 3 slices of olives on a foot long etc.. its horrible!! jersey mikes has better quality meat (boars head brand) and they really load them down.. they are more expensive though

I guess right now all the Subs at Subway are just $5.00. I love the Ham with all the veggies on Wheat. My husband LOVES the spicy Italian with tons of Vinager & Oil on it. I love how most of the subs are under 7grams of fat for me and my husband can get his fatty sub too :)

That sounds so tasty! You're making me hungry! LOL! I've always loved Subway. I love Quiznos better, but, they're more expensive so I only eat there once in awhile. Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

hello cream oh my gosh!, the turkey submarine sandwich at Subway for five dollars sounds delicious. i doubt if i could eat all of the sandwich at one time. lol half of it would fill me up. and i really didn't know that Subway sold salads now. it has been awhile since that i have been to a Subway Restaurant to get a submarine sandwich. but i love them thou. the spicy italian submarine sandwich sounds delicious. and i like everything that they can pile on my sandwich on it. lol i want everything on top of my sandwich. i have a Subway restaurant that is close by to where that i live but they are located on a very busy road and in a very not so good location to stop and pull back out onto the main road. and they also do not have a drive-through window that customers can pull up to and place an order. but i do have to admit thou that i love the smell of the subway restaurant when i walk into one of them thou. take care and have a beautiful evening.

That sounds lovely but I could never eat that much but it sounds like you had it all. A complete meat for that price that was good,I went into a subway in our local town and it was awful, the salad looked like it had been there all week so I just wanted bacon and tomato and they looked at me like I was mad,so I never bothered again.Glad it is nice where you are.

Subway is definitely our families favorite place for subs. We don't have one in our town but when we want a great sub we end up traveling to the nearest one. Besides we did try Quiznoes once and that was the last time. I guess we were expecting them to be made with our choice of what we wanted on them. Subway definitely gives you more Bang for your Buck.

I love these. They are so good and big enough that I can share it with who ever is with me. That makes our lunch 2.50 each and we take it home and drink stuff at home or water so that is a cheap lunch.

Well, once day I went there because my son reminded me of the deal. Our finances were a bit tight and I thought it would be okay for us to get a $5 sub and split it. We usually each get 6 inch subs. Well, somehow, he wanted a type of sub that I really didn't like. Neither one of us wanted what was on the $5.00 menu so we each got a sub that wasn't on the $5 menu and we each got a sub "meal", so I ended up spending a lot more than $5.00.

Hi cream97, My hubbly just loves sub sandwiches but sorry I can't stand them. Once when me and my hubby was out shopping and it was raing and very cold, I ask my hubby if we should sotp some where and have something eat, he said yeah I know just the place, I want to eat something very hot and normal, you know egg, chips sausages tomatoe kitchups, the works, but he took me to sub and I hated it as it was not I wanted, so since that day I don't like sub. Hey cream! You just made me so hungry! I love Subway sandwiches! You get the best deal for the money! They make the best subs ever! I don't like all that stuff on it, only some of it but it is so good! The breads are incredible! The meats are always fresh and so is the everything! I love the oil and vinegar and spices too! Now I want one and I don't feel like taking the walk to get it!

These are a great deal, and in some of the stores they even change out the types of $5.00 subs, to keep things from getting old.
