so you're sitting in your car in the parking lot at Wal-Mart, and some guy bumps your car with a shopping cart. your reaction is to: do nothing, tell the guy to be more careful, cuss the guy out, possibly punch the guy, try to run the guy over with your car, when you can't actually hit him with your car, jump out and stab the guy to death. the last one was what one genius chose to do the other night here in Las Vegas. i've heard of road rage......but parking lot rage??? http://www.fox5vegas.com/news/18701427/detail.html (NOT A REFERRAL LINK) do you think they'll let the guy have a picture of his car in his prison cell???

yeah, it's a crazy mixed up world. it's gotten to where you think twice about getting into an argument with somebody, cuz you just never know what they have in there pocket.

may be the guy had some psychological problem or some personality disorder or else nobody in the right senses would kill for the car(it seems life has become very cheap now.)

Unless it was a major ding I probably wouldn't even notice it. I've had problems getting out of the car at some places because people park on or over the line and I just couldn't get out without touching the car.

actually, now it's looking like the killing may have been in self defense, here's the latest update: http://www.lvrj.com/news/39546632.html but still....i think i would have called the police before killing someone.

I'd probably be a bit of a stabber. I was once having a walk, and some woman backed out of her driveway into another car. It was parked on the opposite side of the road and had a P Plate on it. I had a couple of kids on P Plates at the time, and knew how hard they worked to buy their cars, and how they looked after them - so when this woman made to drive off, I ran up alongside her window and yelled out to make her stop. She was pretty pissed off and told me to mind my own business - but I told her I had her numberplate and would tell the person if she didn't. She'd broken the front lights and badly dented the bumper on the young person's car and I was REALLY upset, as young people in Australia generally can't afford the huge insurance premiums to have their own cars fixed (it's compulsory to be insured in case you hit someone else's). Anyway, she DID tell the young lady, and arranged for her insurance company to have it fixed. I'm not a total wowser, but I believe in justice, and it was just WRONG for the old bat to do that to a teenager and then run off!

sounds like you did a good thing guy. i can't stand people like that, they ACCIDENTALLY do something, but instead of admitting to their mistake, they run off so they don't have to pay for the damage they did. some people just have no respect for others property.

That's why I just LOVE living here in Vegas. People are freakin' crazy. So, because someone accidentally made a small dent in your car, your going to spend the rest of your life in prison?? (By the way, Nevada prisons are really bad - in rural nowhere). I can see how this happens though... maybe he lost his job or can't find a job. Maybe they foreclosed on his house. Maybe he's in the middle of a bad divorce. Maybe he was just having a really bad day (we've all had "one of those days"). And then he just snapped. Couldn't take it anymore... but that's not really a reason for murder. Vegas is very very weird. The people here are very very weird.

hello neighbor. that's one thing i love about Vegas......people watching. if you don't see somebody acting strange, funny, or just downright weird, you can just go down the road a bit......you'll find some weirdo. *puts weirdo costume and weirdo handbook back under bed*

I could do a few things..for one, I am going to bring it to his attention that he hit my car...my next action depends on his reaction..if he acts like he doesn't care, I will then cuss him out..if he apologizes, he is going to have to come out of his pocket with some cash if the damage is noticable..I don't think taking a life over a car is that serious...meaning, thats the overreaction of the year...

oh well, some reactions are just so funny we have to laugh out inspite of its seriousness. Yeah, I think his car is his life so they better let me have a life-size pix inside his cell or he may get the warden next! As for me, I would of course expect the other person to apologise and that would be the end of the matter.

I'd flip out! God, forget trying to run him over, i'da just stabbed him! Lol nah kidding, Well, thats a bit too drastic, if i know he didnt hit it hard i would either ignore it or tell him to be more careful, but if it left a mark... well, then i'd complain, and as another person said, if he was rude, i would cuss at him XD

Talk about an overreaction. Who's going to take care of his precious car now?

Killing just for the sake of car? Well you can get a new car but can you bring back his life? Its not good to be so possessive which might put them into trouble..look now hez in jail.

Good Story. Some people are way too possessive about material goods. It's just stuff. The guy should learn to focus on more important things.
