Do you celebrate Friday the 13th?

me being a horror movie addict loves the date "friday the 13th" because i always go and rent a bunch of horror movies and have a horror movie marathon at home with junk food and hang out.. i havent picked out the movies this year but its just a tradition i started about 11 years ago.. and we have 3 friday the 13ths this year! feb, march and november!!
do you celebrate friday the 13th by watching horror movies? do you avoid doing anything on this day because you think its unlucky? i have always had great luck on friday the 13th personally.. or do you even take note of it?

I hadn't realised that it was Friday the 13th until I read this post lol. I don't celebrate this day but hey I might consider doing it next time as it sounds cool and gives me a reason to celebrate. I might spread this new idea around my house lol.I am not much of a horror movie addict but its fun at times to get the adrenaline pumping.

yeah i got my hubby into it and one of the times i had my best friend up so its kind of grown when able to be (depending on work schedules)
they used to play horror movies on it on cable but now your lucky if you get the movie friday the 13th on tv and usually its the same sequel so thats why i rent movies lol.. i have seen all the friday the 13th movies already

HOLY HELL THATS TODAY!!!!! LOL damn where the hell have I been?? Oh yea in my own little world....Yea usually I like doing horror movie marathons and when I lived back in Canada and before I settled down etc there were ALWAYS Friday 13th parties goin on and of course Bike Runs followed by Bashes in the warm months..Well since I dont have a video rental card (there isnt a place near here) I'll have to see whats playing on the movie channels and what not I think....

I always love Friday the 13th. It is my lucky day! My husband and I were married on Friday the 13th, and he always brings me flowers when this day rolls around. My sons first birthday was also on Friday the 13th. My wedding day was the luckiest day of my life. My husband and I didn't have a choice on the matter since my father was going to pass away, so we choose the first day our schedules would allow. We were married in the hospital because my father was in the ICU. IT was beautiful and perfect. Oh yeah and my dad was also born on the 13th as well.

I am not really that superstitious so I don't really worry about Friday the 13th. I like to celebrate it when I remember LOL I don't know why but I keep thinking today is Saturday.

some people say its really unlucky for them, but i think it depends on what sort of things you believe in.
i dont believe in friday 13th no real reason why just because dont see how it is true, i know so many people born on friday 13th and they are nice people and i am lucky to know them.
yesterday at work, as i work in childcare, the children did do some craft to do with black friday but nothing real serious as they dont really understand it.

ha ha ha ha ha... you actually take the effort to mark out the Friday 13s on your calendar?
To me, it is just another work day. A long work day at the office just like any other day. No difference whether it is a 13 or not.

yep i actually do take out my calendar every year and mark it out and plan ahead lol.. im already planning a movie marathon party for march's

Ugh..I was born on one such day. It hasn't been bad for me so far. Watching a horror movie sounds cool..I happen to be gothic. Will try a ritual or something this year.

I'll never understand why ppl put such silly stock in things like full moons, Friday the 13th and black cats etc...it makes no sense to me at all.

I have never taken note of it...but hope as you said, can celebrate friday, the 13th, but i dont think i can because after watching a horror movie, the impact it leaves on me is huge that it stays on me for at least a week...how do u manage to watch so many horror movies...give me some tips

i dont know.. some people can handle horror movies and some people cant.. my mom cant watch even crime tv shows with out having panic attacks at night when she tries to go to bed.. i just have always liked the fear factor of it.. i can get some what scared but know its not really happening but its still exciting..

No I don't celebrate Friday the 13th by watching horror movies. It is just an ordinary day. It just happened the 13th day falls on a Friday. For me it really don't mean a thing. I'm fond of watching horror movies and I watched this kind of film anytime I feel like watching to. I don't think Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. It is just one of those ordinary days that sometimes I don't even noticed that day 13 falls on a Friday.
