cat and 9 lives or even sometimes with 7 lives, do you believe that? according to wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat#Nine_lives) the reason why cat has 7 or 9 lives cause of falling cats often land on their feet because of an inbuilt automatic twisting reaction and are able to twist their bodies around to land feet first, though they can still be injured or killed by a high fall. so what about you do you have any reason or evidence why cat has this myth? depend on my experience, i ever seen a cat which hit by motorcycle while accrosing the street and still alive although she didn't move for a while. thats really awesome. any sharing about this?

looks like cats seem to be able to live through alot of things . Never saw a cat run over tho.

Cats do seem to survive quite a lot but I'm not sure that they have exactly nine lives... that's surely just a number that's added to make the saying. Some will only survive the once and others will survive several bad situations.. it depends on the situation I guess and how severe it is. Brightest Blessings.

I honestly have no idea if it is just a myth or not. I have heard of it many times though and thought about it.

yes, cats are hard to die. I used to have a cat and he jumped off from 9th floor and he was still okay. He just got some scratched because he hit the awning before touching the ground.
