How quickly can you set up a new discussion?

I think I'm getting better, but I find it takes ages to put my ideas for discussions into the right interest group. It puts me off starting one. But I realise that I need to if I'm to earn much here, so I'm going to try harder. Can you do it quickly? Do you have any helpful tips?

If I have an idea for a discussion, I can set it up in about 5 minutes, but it depends on how long it is. I think shorter discussions get answered a lot more than longer ones, but to read long messages on the screen can be quite tiring on the eyes. I haven't had any ideas for messages in a while though. :-) Derek

Yes, I suppose if people are looking at volume for earning, they might well pass over soemthing that takes a bit more time to read before responding. Thanks, Derek.

Personally I think there is always issues in knowing what kind of discussion in here will earn the most, and what interest catagory is the best choice for each New discussion you choose to start as well. I know for me I go thru spurts as to when I will start a New discussion, and unless something pops into my mind that I seem to not loose hold of, starting a New discussion can be a chore for sure.

I'm still quite new here, really, and I haven't started considering which new discussions will earn the most. You have given me some food for thought. Thank you.

I am sorry I can't give you any tips as I struggle myself to start the discussions as well. What I have now started to do is during the day when I am away from the computer, I will note down ideas for discussions and then later when I am on Myklot will normally try and make a discussion out of my notes.

That's a good idea, Jason. (no pun intended, of course - but believe that and you'll believe anything.)

Thanks for your response Tamara. MyLotting can certainly run away with your time, that's for sure.

Mine are usually topic specific but if I don't have an interest for the discussion I would like to start I will choose something like life or people or enjoying life as the area in which to start it because it is usually applicable.
