Are you always thirsty after eating a lot of pizza?

My friends and I went to CiCi's Pizza tonight for supper. It seems like I am always thirsty all night after I eat a lot of pizza, especially at CiCi's. Does this happen to you? What causes it? Is there a lot of sodium in the pizza or something?
