Paranormal Experiance

Here's a true story. My wife and I are pretty receptive beings to the paranormal (my wife being more receptive than I). We live in Ohio in a pretty modern town home that maybe 20+ years or so old. Well what I am about to tell you is completely true. First know for the most part that I am a medium light to lightly heavy sleeper and I can be disturbed by most noises in my room in the still of the night or early morning. Now on more than a few occasions I have awoken to foot steps or rustling of paper that are on the floor being stepped on. Looking up from my bed at times I would see no one or anything. Now my children get up at times and wander into my wife and I room to hope in the bed for the remainder of their sleep. Now I have distinguished between their foot steps and know which one has come into our room, my son (age3) would shuffle and stop at the door way momentarily and then run to my wife's side of the bed an crawl under the covers. My daughter (age2) would shuffle all the way into the room usually caring the closet item she can put her hand on at the time and then come to my side of the bed, She would call out daddy and then proceed to climb anxiously into the bed. Now other times I would hear a careful shuffling nothing clumsy or awkward like the steps of a sleepy child making their way in the dark, but these steps are as I stated careful. I would look up expecting to see one of my little ones but no one is there and my wife is still sleep by my side. Another occurrence strange is when the day is breaking and everyone is downstairs eating or playing I would hear the same careful shuffling. Out of the blue the bed is weighted down on on the bottom corner of the bed as if someone has sat down, trust me I am not talking about a little light feeling it feels like my wife sitting on the bed or another adult. I would look up to see if it is my wife ( because if it's my kids, it would have started with disorganized rustling, laughing, or crying and "wake up daddy" and repeated bouncing on the bed) but it's not her. I lie back down for a few seconds and whatever it was has gotten up off of the bed. My wife has told me she has experienced this as well and I highly doubt two people experiencing the exact same thing can be called crazy. Another strange thing is the kitchen, for some odd reason it can be extremely cold. First off let me extreme typically this room is "NOT" cold at all, in fact it can get extremely H.O.T. in there plus the kitchen leads to the back yard as well so we have a thermal door stop to prevent and rouge drafts or escaping cool or hot air. When it is usually cold in the kitchen I am sitting at the computer desk and the cold is not emanating from any particular place it's jut hanging in the air. I check the door and the windows and there is no draft what's so ever. The heater vent lines the bottom of the walls and there is like an inch of half of space between it and the floor, so believe me it can get hot. Let me tell you, when it gets cold no matter what you do you cannot get warm. I have put my foot directly in front of the heater, heck i have even gone as far as put my foot on top of the vent and still get violent chills. For those who do not know the significance of cold spots it has been widely regarded as signifying the presence of a an entity of some type now i know this is not dropped dead frighting but it is definitely strange. So please let me know what you think of this and share any paranormal experience if you have any to share I would definitely love to read them. Thank you.

After I turned away from Christianity, some 60 years ago I began a study of Spirituality. To a Student of The Spiritual, "paranormal experience" soon becomes quite Normal. First the student learns to communicate with lost spirits. Spirits do not stay in this dimension on their own accord, but are trapped here due to some unusual circumstance. Spirits use whatever means available to make their predicament known to humans. You might say," They are crying out for help," and looking for a way out. This is what you were experiencing in the house in Ohio. I've had many successes helping trapped spirits. It helps to research the spirit to find out who it was in the earthly life. Then settle your mind and meditate in a quiet place or after you retire for the night. Try to make contact with the lost Spirit, and offer your aid while realizing that the entity needs and wants your help. You will know when contact has been established. At that time ask your Higher Self to guide this lost entity to a safe haven in the next dimension. It will be quite amazing at a later date, to realize that the Spirit is free, has moved on, and will no longer "haunt" the house.

I do not know much about spirits but are all spirits bound to location or do some move around from place to place as they please? I am curious about that and some studies that I have looked at have not mentioned such.

What are some safe ways of contracting a spirit without inviting another spirit.

I don't know if this is scary for you guys, but being an asian i gave into account such things like this to paranormal. There was a time when my friend and I were talking in my room. Then I decided to sleep while my friend used my computer. That was almost 2AM already. Few minutes after, I smelled a scent of burning candle so i got up and asked my friend if he was burning a candle. he said he wasn't, so i became a bit afriad because in our country, when you smell a burning candle or something floral, it means there's a spirit lurking around. i just ignored it, but at 5am my friend was waking me up because he couldnt withstand what was happening. he told me that my room's doorknob was jolting in a different way, upside down, as if someone was trying to break in, but when he opened no one's around. geez... we waited until sunrise outside...

Now that is pretty spooky. I haven not experiences and occurrences involving any scents but I think that would probably take me a bit over the edge.

Well from the way you just describe it I feel scary already. Why not try to contact a local psychic to prove that what you are feeling is indeed true. I am just glad I have not experience that one in my place. Because if I have that in my place I would just decide to transfer to other places not as spooky as your place. Although I really think the spirit or entity in your place means no harm in you since you have not experience anything out of the ordinary that indicates they don't want you there.

I'm trying to dig up some history on the property to see if there is anything of significance. I think there might have been something here on this property prior to the construction of the Apt buildings so hopefully that will give me some insight.

well first off iam no ghost hunter but it sounds to me like you most certainly have a spirit of somekind and since you and your family have not been harmed i would say the spirit is harmless but if i were you i would start doing some research on the house and the property where you are living . what i mean is try to concact the former owners and find out if they had any similiar exepriences or not and if you cant find out anything that way or cant find the former owners go to the local library and see if they can help you and ask for imformationon the property .look up the history of the property .i would say the library is the best place to start and maybe get someone in your house to talk to the spirit. good luck and happy haunting.

I've never had a paranormal experience. I used to be really scared as a child and indeed up until about a year ago of seeing an apparition, however my views have vastly changed in the last 12 months. As with the common misconception, I always regarded spirits as malicious, unwelcoming and just out to frighten people. Now this may sound really stupid, and it probably is, but I got really into watching the US series ghosthunters. Now it may be a fake as I have read online here and there, but they seem to go about things really methodologically, and debunk as well as find evidence. From watching that my feelings about spirits have really changed. They just seem to be souls that have 'unfinished business' and all you need to remember is that these entities used to be people too. Now I'd quite like to have a supernatural encounter and if I ever have kids who are scared of ghosts I know exactly the things to say to them not to be afraid anymore that my parents never knew to tell me when I was a kid.
