after college, the best way to start is to get a job first. although this may sound difficult nowadays due to the financial crisis, but a job will allow you to have a steady income while you are saving for other ventures such as business and investment. find a source of income that will build your savings. online opportunities may sound great, but it needs a technical and writing skills which is essential in online opportunities. goodluck! mylot is a good starter, while you are looking for some opportunities. but don't dwell and depend on this. have this as a sideline.

It takes a lot of hard work and determination. My advice is to create multiple streams of income for yourself. I cannot give you any specific ideas, but use your own talents to help you get where you want to be.

If you are that much desperate, try to get a good job. Online opportunities may make you broke. Get a better job, and then try to make some extra money online, that's safe. And then, try to make the online income better and better.

Long-term wealth is a different thing. I don't know where you live - but in my country (the U.S.), we can open long-term saving accounts with our jobs - called 401K's and IRA's (retirement funds). You should consider opening one. What's nice about these is that you don't have to pay anything truly out-of-pocket, if you open an account through your job, you can usually have them deduct a certain amount per month from your paychecks to go right into the savings account. Other than that, you can just start looking for a good post-college job! Or pursue another (Masters) degree, if you choose. :) Good luck!
