I was wondering, what eases your mind? Sometimes my mind gets so cloudy I don't know how to empty it, It seems so difficult just to keep going when you seem to be blocked. Have a great day! :)

I find the best way to organize my mind is to organize something else with my hands. If I spend a couple hours doing very intense tedious work with my hands (such as scrubbing the tile grout with bleach and a toothbrush) I find my mind seems to organize itself with out my needing to dwell on my problems. Usually awhile after doing one of these projects I find that solutions to my problems just pop into my head and seem so simple, but that I couldn't think of before.

Find somewhere secluded with nice running water. Go there with someone you are very close to and talk about what maybe bugging you and them. Alternatively get a BIG chocolate bar and eat infront of tv with a nice hot drink.

Meditation works very well for me. Talking things over with my husband or other friends can do it, too. Music is a must!

Become conscious of your breath. Count your breaths and deepen your breathing. This is an instant cure to over thinking, stress and in some cases pain. The main reason to do this is the fact that where the mind goes the body follows, so by making your mind go to the breath the body will follow and relax. The Chinese have a whole study on different breaths and what to use them for. I would think you could find a book on the internet. Enjoy

I really enjoy working. It may sound odd, but with the main worries in my life being money and school, work gives me a chance to say "ok, i am making money right now and it is imposable for me to be studying so this is all i can do!" Plus i work with great people; a young man from Peru who is a riot, plus tons of cute boys.

When the kids are going crazy or i'm feeling crazy, and i can't think, i make myself a nice cup of tea and sit on the balcony while listening to the beautiful sounds the birds and the trees make. If its to cold oputside then i just lay down on my bed close my eyes and take really deep breaths while i'm thinking about laying down on a prarie with the sun on my face~ that helps me alot too.

I agree, it so difficult when that happens. And at times, you couldn't even think right about everything. Well for me,I stay away from too much mental activities. I just usually make it a point to be tired physically so Id be able to sleep well. And then hopefully, the next day will be different.

The only thing that seems to bring me peace is the ocean. It's really the only place that I can gt away from all of my worries and just lose myself in nature. I find it so calming that I bought a CD of gentle ocean waves and a CD of Ocean storms and I listen to them at night when I go to bed. It so helps me fall asleep.
