I lost 4 lbs last week. yay me! except I am not entirely sure about what prompted my success. (hmmm) I drank more fluids, I exercised twice at the gym. One was a beginner aerobics class, the other was eliptical machine and wieght training. I've been sleeping a bit more, maybe that's it. I've had extra stress in my life though. Maybe that contributed... I don't really know. But I know Yay me! 36 more to go! woo hoo.

The other day while watching "The Drs. " on TV they were talking about weight loss and getting enough sleep. There does seem to be a connection there. It seems that getting the right amount of sleep does help with weight loss. A woman getting 7 hours of sleep over one getting 5 hours is more likely to lose more weight by just getting the right amount of sleep. Not getting the right amount of sleep can cause weight gain with eating more. What ever the reason congratulations http://thyroid.about.com/od/loseweightsuccessfully/a/sleepdiet.htm

That is great. I lost weight once too I didn't too to much to loose this weight either. I just ate less watched the portions and the weight just fell off. I did change my cooking and eating habits. I guess that had a lots to so with it. I didn't like the way I looked because I lost to much. Once the weight start coming off it is hard to stop it. Now I am at the size where I feel comfortable.

Hooray for you!!! Have you read that getting the right amount of sleep is conducive to weight loss? I wish I could do that, I sleep poorly. I have about the same amount of weight to lose as you and I'm doing it mainly through portion control since I'm physically limited. You've made a LOT of progress for a week! Keep up the good work and remember that you deserve to feel good and be healthy!
