...and that's hard for me to say. I don't usually give up on many things but I have less than $5, $4.83 to be precise, and the only way I'm going to make payout this month is to spend every waking minute here on Mylot, which is not an option this month. I have a short story and a poem due on Saturday as well as the Mylot deadline. The poem is almost done, the story is half done, and Mylot's nowhere near done. I paid to enter both the story and the poem competition. If I forget a month, I'm out. With Mylot, all that will happen is that my money will rollover into the next month and there's no penalty to me. It was an easy choice to make.
Have you given up, too? Or are you still in the running for payout? What are your reasons for either choice?

I use to try to make payout every month on here and it just became stressful. Now I get on in my free time and just have fun with the site. I find myself making payout every other month or once in a while every 3rd month. It isn't about making big bucks for sure. I'd say let the money roll over and focus on what pays you more.

Actually this month is harder for me to reach the minimum payout. Right now I have only USD8.24 in my account and this month is shorter. It has only 28 days and this is why it's difficult to reach the minimum payout. But I haven't given up yet. Perhaps I will be lucky to reach it, who knows?:)

I am currently about 1/2 way to payout. I'm not going to sit here either for hours, as it takes the fun out of it for me. I'll just see if I can make enough so that next month I can coast easy. I'm never really concerned about it. I just enjoy reading the posts and answers.

I have already made payout but did spend a great deal of time on mylot to accomplish this. My fiance and I do not have a job and are saving for our wedding so therefore, yes we do need the money and enjoy making the money. We aren't very social beings so therefore we can spend as much time as possible on here.

For me I think theres no reason to give up. If I don't reach the pay out this month, I'm sure my earnings will add up and will eventually reach pay out.
Mylotting is just like a hobby for me and I feel it is good that way. Sometimes if we consider it as a major source of income that we spend almost all of our time with it, we end up frustrated. That is why as much as possible I would want to enjoy being here even if I earn only a little amount.

Yes its true, no pressure here on mylot and easy choice for you as well. It's nothing to worry as it will roll over the following month. Me, i give up reaching the payout when i see its too far away and little time left. I only work hard to reach payout when i really needed an extra bucks but if not no pressure, i just post to the best i can. This month i think i'm still not sure i could reach it but i will see, i still have few days left to work hard. happy posting!

Well, actually i can have my payout anytime since im in $12.89 already. But i dont want to get this until such time it will be atleast $20 to $30. I know, it will take a lot of time. But need to wait. And im willing to wait.

I am $2.00 away, and I believe that it is possible for me to make it. But I will have to work very hard at it for the next few days. But I will post more questions to try and hope to get more people to view them and comment, I also posted a picture today so I am hoping that will help. I also have a couple of referals and I am hoping they help me at least a little bit. I am going to stay confident. Would you believe one month I missed payout by .02. I could not believe it. If I had just answered one more discussion I would have gotten it. That was so frustrating. You could make it, but like you said it would take a lot of your time, and if you have other things that will do better for you, you should do those.

I do try not to overdo things then I will lose interest if it ceases to be enjoyable. Add to that is the short number of days in February, normally you would get 2 or 3 days extra in any other month. Essentially after tonight there are only 4 days left in the month, so that would mean for me a dollar a day which is impossible for me. I intend never to spend all my time here.

I have not given up and do not plan on giving up. I do not care if there is no payment for me this month from myLot. You should not give up on myLot just because you can not get paid this month or every month. Besides, if you give up now, your friends and other myLot users are going to miss you on here.

I hope I never have to deal with this, I always expect to make a payout every month. Being a highschool student in a small town where there are almost no jobs is tough..and finding something like this to put even a little extra cash in hand is great.

Well, unless something happens beyong my control I should easily reach payout in here with tomorrows update for earnings. But it is Good to know that any month we do not reach payout in here that is does roll over which is a nice added Bonus to motivate us to keep on as well. I do Wish you Luck with your Short Story and Poem and have a blessed week as well.

Hi my friend. When I was new to My Lot it took me two to three months to reach $10 payout. I am able to reach it every month if I am home. I missed the payout this month because of my holiday to South Africa last month. However I now have enough for a payout in March. Good luck with your short story and poem.

You should not have to make payout every month i have never even made payput yet its hard to sit here and not make payout. Just think if you dont make pay out this month you will make more money next months pay out. Mabe if you look art it that was you we see what i trying to tell you. Alright well good luck with what ever desiccation you make.

I wouldn't say I have given up as such although making payout this month seems unlikely, but you never know.
I haven't been able to spend as much time on here as I would have liked this month, but it doesn't matter as I know that unless of a big disaster, I will make payout next month.

Well I haven't given up yet, I'm not near payout yet, but I'm getting closer, I've decided that this week, I'm going to devote more of my time to mylot, if I make it, thats great, if I don't, oh well, I'll make it next month for sure. It can get stressful if you let it, I just try to get on here and have fun. I blame myself for it tho, I haven't spent too much time on here the past couple months, so I haven't really been trying, till now..haha.
