you look around you and everything has some link to money. We cannot live without it. I am so sick of not having enough of it as im sure most of you are too!! Why can't life be easier, why does it all come down to who has the best TV or who has the biggest diamond on their finger, who has the best SUV, why can't we just plant a money tree and be done with it? I am so frusterated about money....I hate it and yet I cant live with out it..Do any of you feel the same?

Yes, I feel exactly the same! And sometimes I think how the world would be if money didn't exist! I even think other ways that could replace money for good! Like exchanging things maybe!! :)) Of course, people need a motivation in order to develop, but I am sure that there must be also another way to get motivated! All the bad things start from money! People become so competitive for a higher position in their company, other people steal or even cause harm to others because of money! There is nothing that doenns't start from there! Except from the health conditions of course! But, look even there, money also plays a great role! If you have money, you will enter a better hospital, or doctors will pay more attention to you! Also, sometimes people, don't follow their dream job and their calling in life, in order to do a job that will offer them a bigger salary...And this leads to see all those people who are not happy with their jobs and they are not doing it well, which has in turn a great impact to the rest of the society...Anyway, I believe that our lives would be so much better and easier without having to worry about money! We would be able to enjoy our lives 100%! :p

I feel this way all the time Shootingstar85! I often think life would be so much easier if we could go back to the old barter and trade system. I am one of those people who is a jack of all trades, but a master of none. I could do a little here and a little there and help everyone out. And everyone used to help everyone back in those days I think. The houses were huge and people didn't struggle. Now we live in little houses or apartments and barely scrape by. It is amazing how times have changed. Good luck to you and your family during these times while everyone seems to be struggling!

The Bible in 1st Timothy 6:10 says that it is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil - because when you think of evil things - happenings - and practices, most if not all of them are sponsored by, or to gain more money. It's a tough time we're living it, but I do hope that our economy will make a come back. If and when it does, there are ways and provisions for most people to better themselves, but it takes WORK and persistance - which many fall short of. And too - - to make more, we have to learn to sacrifice things, and some don't want to do that either. If there was more trust, and honesty among people, some of us might be able to form groups to give into and help others to do better in life - but I'm afraid that'll never happen. 'nuff said

Yes i feel the same way , and yes I think money is the root of evil. The love for money is I think what's worst because people can kill and people can commit crimes for this. People don't get contented with what they have , they long for more money , more richness and power. But they don't realize that they are becoming evil. Everyone is a sinner that's what I think. That's life. We all need to do more good to lessen our sins.

you are absolutely right, some how enough of money but no peace of mind and happiness but some dont have it and hence they are not happy and as well no peace of mind. each one in this world is left with one thing less, one have money, one have peace of mind , one have happiness and one have good health but all things are not blessed to one and this is life.

Yes I do feel the same that money is really a need. But I don't get to the point that I can't live without it. Before it was invented people have survived so why can't we survive now without money? Let me just make it clear that we can only survive if the rest doesn't have money too because that was the case before civilization started. Well today since everything you need requires money, we can't do nothing. In my case I want to apply to a regular job so that I can earn my own money. I know my husband is very responsible and he is the sole provider for all the expenses in the house and to our baby's milk and that is the reason why I wanted to help him. I want to earn money too to divide the expenses. I am a bit sad now because I have no cellphone. We sold it because we need to pay something very urgent. I am still positive though. I am just waiting for a babysitter to come and take care of our 5 month old son so that I can apply again. I feel frustrated because money is very hard to earn. I have been doing a lot of things including mylotting just to escape from thinking of all the problems in life but really money is a need. I wish I could be more patient. I just keep on praying and I believe in my husband saying that everything will be okay soon.

See this is my point, why should we live our life to make money that we cannot even buy the things that we need? Why cant we just enjoy life without money? We work %90 of our lives, for what??

Some people say that money is the root of all evil. I almost wonder if jealousy is really the root of all evil. Jealousy makes people hate people they don't know, assume nasty things about people who aren't nasty, and enjoy the pain of people simply because the jealous person deems that other deserves some pain. Very attractive people often have to deal with the same type of jealousy. Someone thinks that because someone else is pretty she must be conceited. It isn't always true, and not everyone in the world is jealous of pretty people. Still, a pretty person has to deal with "attacks" of jealous people more than she should have to. Wealthy people have their share of jealous people who need to believe they're corrupt, even if they're not. Slender people may find themselves not liked by jealous overweight people. Again, not all overweight people are jealous of slender people, but that doesn't change the fact that people should not be disliked for being fit.

In my own opinion, money will be the root of all evil if people dont know how to use it and how they appreciate the things they have in their lives. I guess, what is really need is the things we should bought first. And not those things just to impress our friends and loveones. Except if we really have enough. The same time, i guess, it is more good if we give thanks what we have... Be contented and dont dream to high to the extend that we can hurt anybody just to get what we want.

YES i feel it is true money the root of all evil. Dont you agree, we all are working so hard in day just to make money and thinking all night how to make more. I know those people who have enough to buy their basic needs and just earn for more luxuries, feel its not so bad as they are not in a position to struggle for their living. i always wonder y a human being need all these when there are many animals living happy lives with out money????? i many times feel like i am going to be a quitter , i feel like leaving up every thing and give a chance to the destiny. but you know those commitments we make when we dont know much about money keep us from doing any thing but earning.. I hate money yet i want money... may be its weird but there is no other go .. you want to live a life thenn you need money but can you love it just because you need it???????????? no atleast i cant..

no, not all. Money has no sin. It is people who munipulate money are evil and sinful. Money is only a media for daily commerical activities. people work for money, die for money, fight for money, but in fact, people are doing this for occupying more material enjoyment, powder, social status, fame and so on. it's the desire that evoke crime not money itself.

I don't know how others feel about money. As for me,I don't want to be rich. I think if we have it above a certain amount, then it's going to give rise to evil outcomes, like we may become more greedy,we may want more and more of it and in the persuit we would have to spent all of our time in earning them. All the wars, all the fights, all the quarrels, 98% of them are because of the MONEY (in my opinion). So, for myself, I have learned how to be self contented with what I have. If we compare ourselves with others then jealousy is going to come to you. So,better not compare and be satisfied with what I have. I know it's a bit hard but, we can try and I belief we all can do it.

The greed is very evil, it makes people to do inimaginable things, but the jelousy and the anvy as others also take people to its most dark limit of action. But in fact the money nowadays is the reason of a lot of crimes and sins, so I suppose that its the principal source of evil in every society, not the only but the most important. I think that its part of the human nature to find something to justify his actions, because in some primitive tribes there is no money, but there are also crimes. Whoops I think I´m entering in another controversy domain about if people is naturally evil or naturally good and the enviroment corrupts them.

Its not money which is the root of all evil. Its the greed which is the root of all evil. For example, There are a lot of rich people who do good. If money was the root of all evil all rich people would be devils.;-) Well its just my point of view.. Its the greed which is becoming the real problem.

I most definitely feel the same way....I've never been one to worry about the newest and best products, but I still struggle at times to make ends meet. Take for example grocery shopping. I used to tell my mom when I was a child that I was only going to buy "the good stuff". I now know as an adult with a family of my own, we can't always afford those name brand products. The stock market is what worries me most though. We kept putting off taking our money out, thinking it would get better....we've now lost over half that was invested. It's very scary, and has taken a toll on our family both financially and emotionally.

There are days when I definately feel like that. Especially at the end of the month when money is scarse yet the family needs milk, or of course the kids need money for a field trip or for something for school, which always seems to happen at the end of the month when I am my brokest. There are so many things I would love to do, but can't because it just takes too much darned money. So yes it is evil, but unfortnately it is necessary.

I know how you feel. you get tired of just "making it" and want to be able to afford fun times or nicer things. It's frustrating. i am so thankful for everythign that I have, and having a job and roof over my head but I admit that I get jealous when I see people going on vacations and buying fancy things. But I know that I don't need those things to be happier in the end. While it may make life easier some of the happiest times in my life had nothing to do with money... I remember when me and my boyfriend first moved into our apartment we could just afford rent and went a month without a couch, making a bed on a floor and sitting side by side in 2 lazy boys we were given are some of my fondest memories! Sometimes we just have to think "Yes, I wish I had more money but it's not the solution for happiness" and these people buying extravagent things...they're just things not people, happiness or a life.

i suppose that you are too rich enough to hate money,of course money is not the root of the evil,if so ,why does so mant people are strive for it,we should stand our right attitude, add more knowlegde and culture, qualily to promote ourself to privent the bad manners. at the same time you should smile with life, because "what really it is is just depend on what you thought".hope you be fine.

Here is the truth about money... I Timothy 6:5-10 says, "Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness:from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it us certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL: Which while some have coveted after, they have erred from the faithg, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows" This is a great word of warning, and as we can all see, this is exactly what this corrupt world has come to! The way to make sure that you are taken care of is to... 1. Make sure that you give God a tenth of all you earn, and God promises to open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing and there shall not be room enough to receive it...and he will rebuke the devourer for your sake. Malachi 3: 10-11. 2.Jesus said in Luke 6:38 to give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together , and running over, shall men give to you, for with the amount you give it shall be given back to you.
