Do you belong to any clubs or organizations?

I recently joined a stamping group that meets at a scrapbook store once a month. I love going! We share ideas, have challenges....and its nice to meet new people! A few years back I was involved in so many organizations that I hardly had time to breath. I would join and almost immediately be on the board of directors or something...heading up committees...so I dropped out of most of them...but now I have joined this new stamping club and it's just right....a night out with new people...learning a few things and sharing with other women! Do you belong to a club or organization? Which do you belong to?

I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Jaycees, and I serve on two city and one county government boards. I am also a member of the Booster Club for my daughter's school, a member of my church, and a member o the NRA! I was bouncing around the idea of an actual membership to the Republican Party but decided against it when they nominated McCain. They might make changes this year, we will see....

I was also an active member of various organizations back home but here, I am not active anymore.
I will attend once in awhile gathering but I prefer not to become a member or officers. Maybe next time! But, I tell you, it is always great meeting people and learning stuff from them, it's a healthy divertion![/i]

I don't belong to any groups, clubs, or organizations. I hardly ever get to leave the house without the kids with me. I am sure when they get older and don't need me there ALL the time I will be able to sneak out more and have some ME time and join a group.

I am a member of several groups. A hiking group, a dinner group, and an outdoors group. Most of the time, I attend different meetings. I am not an officer or an organizer or something. I am happy to be a member.
