Do you put peanut butter and syrup at the same time on your pancake?

I have a friend who put a lot of peanut butter on his pancake then spread it with syrup all at the same time. I can see him enjoying a lot of what he is doing. Usually, when I have pan cake I used either syrup or butter. Not peanut butter and syrup at same time.. hahaha.. well, I know different people have different taste buds.. That what he was used to maybe. what about you? what do you put on your pancake?

We have been putting peanut butter and syrup on our pancakes for years. My grandson love to put peanut butter about 1/2 inch thick on his pancakes the smoother it in syrup. He then mixes the tow together. I put just enough to cover the pancake then some syrup. I don't remember when we started doing the peanut butter on pancakes we have been doing it for so long. I have also eaten pancakes with butter and runny fried eggs covered with syrup. They are both good.

Oh really? well, I come from Asia and I just learned to eat pancake for breakfast here when I migrated. So, am wondering if it is normal for people to use peanut butter and syrup on pancakes.. hahaha. In our country we eat pancake for snacks not for breakfast and we use butter and sugar.. weird?? that's what we do.. but when I came here, I used butter and syrup.. not peanut butter... but I think it taste good though... thanks for sharing..

Many years ago I worked for a family that made really thin pancakes crepes they were called. They put butter and sugar on them. I'm not much of one for real sweet things so this didn't appeal to me very much. I don't know how normal peanut butter on pancakes is but that's the way we have eaten them for years now.

I haven't tried having a peanut butter with my pancake. what I usually have is just the plain butter and the maple syrup. I would try my pancake next time with a peanut butter. How does it taste? I like peanut butter but not with my pancake. Usually I have it with a bun or bread. At time I even have it after a meal.

Is that is so my friend I will try having my pancake with peanut butter and syrup at the same time. I think that would be highly fattening. Though i don't think it would harm if I try it once. LOL. Thanks for sharing. I love peanutbutter a lot and this would surely be a hit. Happy mylotting again.

Oh that sounds different. I normally use butter and syrup but not peanut butter and syrup. Sometimes also I use coco jam and butter and tastes good too. My son loves putting Alaska condensed milk on his pancake and said it tastes great, but I have not tried that. With peanut butter and syrup I don't think I will like that combination. Maybe I'd use just peanut butter on my pancake but no more syrup!

You can try it my friend.. I think it taste good specially the creamy peanut butter? Lol.. but do you eat pancake for breakfast? When I was yet in the Philippines, am not eating pancake for breakfast? I only eat that for snacks.. during recess time hahahaha...I always have rice for breakfast, I can't even stand with pandesal and milk or choco or coffee? But here? hahaha I learned to eat brunch with no rice at all. I can eat rice only maybe 3-4 times a month.

I mostly eat the pancake during snack time. During breakfast we eat rice only during weekends but on regular days just fruits and wheatbread.

Me, I have to use sugar-free syrup...ooh thats fun...haha. I know this guy that puts peanut butter and syrup on his pancakes and eats it like that, that would be way to sweet for me...haha.

Hi bebs! I guess everyone to their own tastes! I have never
seen anyone put peanut butter on pancakes before! I put butter
and syrup on mine! I know that different people put different
things on their pancakes! Some people like fruit on theirs.
But peanut butter? Doesn't sound too appealing to me! Not
something I would ever consider trying!

I completely forgot about Pancake Day until I saw it on the news, so I haven't had one this year. Normally I would have a little lemon juice dripped on it, and then thinly spread some dark brown sugar over it.
