Do you wish there was more time in the day?

I wish I had a few more hours in my day. When I have to work a full day, I don't have a lot of time to do anything at home. All I really want to do when I get home is relax while watching television, or messing around on the computer. There never seems to be enough time to do that while getting other things donw around the house. **sigh** Life stinks sometimes.

There are times I do wish there were more hours in the day. Then maybe I could feel that I got a decent night's sleep. But, on the other hand, if there were more hours in the day, do you think that we would spend them relaxing and being good to ourselves (I mean this is extra time, right?) or would we spend it doing more chores, or working longer hours. I would like to think that it would be extra time to spend with friends and loved ones, but most likely I would spend it working and doing non-fun things.

You know, you're probably right. If we had the extra time, some people would probably waste it away, while other people would use it wisely. However, if we already had the extra time, we wouldn't know it, and still we'd complain.

I do wish there was more time in a day, so that we could all have more time to do all the things we want and/or have to do. Sadly, we're all restricted to the amount of time that we have now. We just have to do our best to get the things we need to do within the amount of time that we currently have.

That's pretty much all we can do...make the best out of what we have. There's only so much we can do on a daily basis.

I have heard this alot lately. Not enought time in one day to accomplish what I need to do. Bad statement. Everyone has the same amount of time. From a homeless person on the street to the President Of USA. Its simply goes back to time management. I am working on getting better at this in my life. Since I have been told that I dont manage my time wisely. Does anyone know of a site that gives hints on time management?

It also seems like the things that usually took a short amount of time, they're taking longer. Maybe that's why we don't have enough time in the day to get what we need done.

Yes, i wish i had a few more hours in a day too. Same as you, i had to work about twelve hours a day. If only i had more time , i could do more things or earn more money by doing overtime. Do you agree guys?

I definitely agree. If I had extra time, I'd be able to work, and still get my cleaning done. I just got caught up with laundry tonight. I threw the last load in tonight. Now I just have to fold everything, and tomorrow I'm going to work on putting everything away before I leave for work. Think it'll happen? lol

There are some days I just don't know where the time went. I'll get started doing some things in the morning/afternoon, and then I'll find that it's getting to be evening time. Time really goes fast.

I know exactly how you feel. I work fulltime and I am mostly at work. I work between 7 am to 16 pm and I am so tired when I get home that I do not want to do anything els but relaxing. I am also a single mother, I have a son living with me, 17 years old. And the dinner do not make it self, or the laundry or the cleaning in the house. I am lucky though, the comming week I have four days of, I have taken an eveningshift of 4 hours free, that give me an extra day of. I need those days to relax, keep up at home and just be on my own. I work as a assitance nurse and have to put a smile on my face every workday and take care of 10 eldre. So I am not looking for some soicalizing when free off. Yes, I wish I had a few extra hours in the afternoon. But then I have come to a sense that there is not any must do things if You do not make it be a must do thing. If you are not having any friends over, why on earth clean the house if you really do not need it. Why not wait a few more days, and do it when You feel like it. We have to found a way of not have to do everything everyday. We need to relax, and think about relaxing and get new energy somewhere from. Find a thing that keeps us not running and chasing the time all the time. I know, that is easier than done. But we have to for our health sake. I use my computer for relaxing, and Mylot is the best place to be. You actually lose the time here, but it is a great and worthy time to spare.

I think I wish I had more time OF the day to do me things. I work about 12-14 hours a week. It's tiring. Yes I could ask for more hours in the day but knowing me I would just work my butt off anyways and not give myself the me time to do what I want.

Me too. My time is fading faster than I can even get to comprehend. What's wrong with the world today. I have so many things to do but so little time to accomplished it all. Sometimes I'm afraid I'm going to be left behind by this journey called life.

I often wish I had just a couple more hours in my day to get things done. I think most of us do. I have a lot to do almost every day and if I had a couple more hours, I could get a lot more done.

Yes and I wished there were days in a week .It seems there is never enough tm eto accomplish the things that I want to do .It always seems that once it is sunday I basially turn around it is the sunday for the next week.It is either that the days are shorter or I have more things to do but somehow it seems that I dont get as many things as I would have hoped to do

I have wished that more times than often especially when I have nasty deadlines to meet or when there is an exam the next day. I also would like to have more time after working to spend more time with my family and weekends aren't just enough. I also wish the contrary sometimes that the day should get over soon when I am not having fun. Have a nice day!

I completely agree with you, it would be awesome if days had more hours, a lot more hours, because you arrive at your home like about the 8 in the afternoon, and you dont have free time to do what you really want to, and this is very important, to dont get depressed or stressed.

I never could understand how some families seemed to have time for family dinner, all their kids' sports and activities and still have time for themselves. We have 4 kids, I work part-time, go to school full-time, my hubby works full-time and there always seems to be so much going on that I often wish there were more hours in a day. But that usually happens on the night before I have to go back to work LOL

sometimes i do wish that but i wonder if we would just work more and rest less just like we do now. in some ways i am glad there is not more time in a day because i would probably just be that much more exhausted at the end of it. my days are long and hard now as it is. what i could use is more rest and sleep.

It's all about Time Management. It's not about how much time you got, but how you use your time. Try to sort the work you have to do with priority, important(not urgent) work go first, if those work can be done by others, let them do it. You can spare more time to do things you like. ^^
