Snowing in middle georgia

I live in middle Georgia and i cant believe it is snowing here now! It is March and snowing. Yeaterday we had tornado warnings here and today snow. Talk about crazy weather. I grew up here and have lived here almost all my life and i only remember it snowing once when i was about 8 years old. Even then it was an icy nasty snow. This is a thick snow that you can make snowballs and snowmen with. My five year old was so excited. He has seen snow before because we lived in New York for about two years. He has been asking me for a while when it was going to snow and i told him that it doesnt really snow in GA. He was so happy when he looked at outside and saw it snowing. I took him out and let him play in it for a while and he got so tired he came inside and is now napping.
