I noticed some discusstion recieved a lot of respondes, but some recieved 0 respondes, the hottest respond is not more attractive the "coldest" ones, maybe is my personal view.So what discusstion make you want to respond? Are you intereted in it or is it easy to respond?I really admire the people who got a lot of respondes!!

yeah it's really admirable when people get to open up topics which interests several other people... I've always considered those kinds of people as intelligent and charismatic... hmm... I think I have tried opening a discussion before and closing it without posting a response... I find Simple and funny kinds of discussions as the easiest ones, especially if they are asking about your personal opinion about something.. Discussions questioning/judging faith, personal opinion or ideas, are examples of tough questions, which after you have typed your response, you'd feel like if you send it, the reader might get offended or something.. so sometimes, you'd opt not to reply anymore.. haha... i don't know...

Hi there Sea Motive! Well, I am one of those who have started some topics and didn't get any response at all but I also had some successful discussions. About responding to discussions, what I do is respond to those discussions with no responses so that the interesting ones, for me at least won't go to waste. I think it also helps other mylotters so they can avoid having discussions with no response at all.

People who get lot of responses is because they have started quality discussions. If you start a topic on money. Many people will respond in it.I also have some discussions for which i didn't get response. But i always read everybodys response and comment on it.My principle to respond to a discussion is it should be of my interest.I should understand the discussion well to respond.

Hi, I will respond to any discussion that catches my eye, regardless of it's popularity x I have started some discussions that have received no or few responses. Sometimes it is a case of how many users are online when your posting. Most responses to your discussions are received within a couple of hours. Thanks MrsL x x

Hi, I think there are two reasons which can help you to get lot of responses. First your topic has to be interesting, neither very short nor too long and it should not be meant for some specific group of people, so that everyone can reply to that topic. Like if you create a topic like "How often do you shave in a week?", then you would get replies only from males, so you should avoid topics like that. Another thing is that you have to keep your discussion alive and active by commenting to every response that you get. By doing so your topic will come into the 'recent discussion' category which will help you to get more responses. Have a good day, happy mylotting..

my way of responding is like.i like for the zero response topic and try to respond them ....its b'coz everyone who started a topic will be waiting a response from someone....so i keep responding them....i don't look for top discussions....
