The democrats and president Obama have made talk show host Rush Limbaugh more relevant than ever with their all-out campaign to put him down. Now Rush has turned the tables on them and president Obama by challenging him to a one on one debate of today's issues in his studio with no teleprompter, cue cards or notes. Here is the article with the details: http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=90720 Does anyone believe there is any chance on God's green earth that this will ever take place? My opinion? Not on your life!

I can hear Obama now (that's if anyone in his tight-knit circle has the courage to ask the question): *giggles and shakes his head before taking a deep breath and smiling at the crowd* "We face larger problems in America than the ramblings of a talk radio entertainer." *laughs some more and changes the subject* Obama didn't even debate McCain during the debates! He made speeches. He'll never, ever, in a million years, debate Rush. The only way I would even give it .0000001% of happening is if the entirety of liberal media agreed that he should. Liberal media is the love potion #9 from Obama's book of magic. It's the only thing convincing people of his worthiness.

Materfish, You are so right about the MSM! Without their undying devotion and un-scrutinizing attitude, Obama would never have been elected,if even nominated!

Of course not! Ha! He wouldn't even give McCain more than the minimum number of debates and he was running for president. He wouldn't have a chance against Limbaugh in a debate and even if he did, he has absolutely nothing to gain.

Taskr, I agree, he will never do it but I have to disagree with the nothing to gain. If he did actually succeed in taking Rush down a peg or two....oh, that's too rediculous to even contemplate! Without his teleprompter, or cue cards or notes he would be tripping all over his tongue the entire time.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER! Obama did not debate with Rush when he was campaigning so I think he feels he does not have to now especially as he is president.

Whiteheather, I agree, this will never take place in a million years. I just think it is funny that these democrats have the audacity (pun intended) to throw stones and try to be-little Rush while not having the guts to confront him on an even playing field! Hey, democrats, president Obama, you could win you know, but I seriously doubt it!

This will never happen because the 0nbamunist is too much of a coward. He refused to debate McCain in any Town Hall meetings because he knew McCain could and would clean his clock... and Rush is much better at what he does than McCain is- or any other politician that I klnow of for that matter. Rush would have him for lunch and the 0bamunist knows it.

It won't happen, because for a debate to really take place both sides need to be able to actually debate the issues at hand and not simply divert to a 'safe and well rehearsed topic' which was Obama's tactic during the campaign debates. I have to give him that, he can hold speeches, but debating, well, he has to take many more lessons in that area. Besides that, he'll never be on Limbaugh's show, especially as President. Officially, Limbaugh is beneath him, inofficially, too chicken to take Limbaugh up on that challenge;)

Greetings Sir Rodney, Of course there's a chance -- the same chance as when pigs fly! Of course, it's difficult to say if those pigs will be donning fire engine red lipstick or not! Geesh, he had to use a teleprompter to introduce Kathleen Sebelius for heaven's sake, and that was just a blip of time. Imagine the mess he could create unscripted (without a teleprompter) for a whole hour while under pressure from one of the most informed political commentators in America? Criminies, the few times he tried to deliver speeches on the stump trail without a teleprompter were shocking. They really undercut the whole 'stupendous orator' argument. "After the teleprompter malfunctioned a few times last summer and Obama delivered some less-than-soaring speeches, reports surfaced that he was training to wean himself off of the device while on vacation in Hawaii. But no such luck." Below is a link to a news story about Obama's unnatural use of the teleprompter as a crutch. Apparently, his dependence on teleprompters hasn't escaped the unflattering reproach of the media, whose jobs become that much more diffucult to photograph around his crutch. "Obama's safety net: the TelePrompter Just how much of a crutch the teleprompter has become for Obama was on sharp display during his latest commerce secretary announcement. The president spoke from a teleprompter in the ornate Indian Treaty Room for a few minutes. Then Gov. Gary Locke stepped to the podium and pulled out a piece of paper for reference." http://www.ask.com/bar?q=obama+uses+teleprompter+to+introduce+kathleen+sebelius&page=1&qsrc=2417&zoom=Kathleen+Sebelius+Childhood%7CWhen+Was+Kathleen+Sebelius+Born%7CKathleen+Sebelius+Biography&ab=2&u=http%3A%2F%2Fnews.yahoo.com%2Fs%2Fap%2F20090302%2Fap_on_go_ca_st_pe%2Fsebelius_hhs_18 "Without his teleprompter, Dr. Obama prescribes a breathalyzer for people with asthma." hotair.com/archives/2009/03/05/obama-cant-break-the-tel... hotair.com/archives/2009/03/05/obama-cant-break-the-teleprompter-habit-either/?print=1 Anyway, I certainly won't be holding my breath. Though, it'll be interesting to see if Obama even acknowledges the challenge, won't it?

I doubt Obama will, but I agree, Obama and the criminal Rahm Emanuel made Limbaugh a lot more relevant than he has ever been. This will probably secure Rush with another 10 years on the air and add $10 Million to his next raise. Can you imagine Prs. Obama debating without a teleprompter, cue cards or notes? The guy can't even introduce a speaker without words being spoonfed to him.

Rush would chew him up and spit him out and Obama knows it. President Obama doesn't have the guts to face Rush just like he doesn't have the guts to face up to his own party(as if he even wanted to).
