hello everyone,........well, first let me tell you this discussion is not only for those who can post smileys on mylot.....those who are yet to unlock the emoticons can also answer this---think about some other place where you use smileys frequently.
so, coming to my question, there are around 25 emoticons on the left side now,....and i would have hardly used a 6 of them till now. in fact i can name the ones i use on mylot -- happy, lol, sad, thumbs up and may be a couple of others.........
i like using smileys but i don't use all because i am too careful in my posts...i try not to post something that will mean something else to some other person.
so, whats the case with you??....did you feel like posting a stupid/funny expression sometime??.......and yes, at the end of your post don't forget to add three (that's the limit.:-(....) smileys that you have this foolish desire to use sometime...

you are not able to post smileys??.....but since you have crossed the 200-posts mark, you should be able to post smileys on mylot....do check it out.

Ahh, that is what that number is for, lol. Didn't know that. As I am typing this I see no smiley's. Guess I should read what is available to myLot, I just jumped in the earn money, lol.

Those are the ones I wouldn't use. As a matter of fact, I forgot we had smilies on here until you pointed it out.

Cool I really only use like three different ones. I think I might want to explore some more I am sure people get sick of my same ones all the time.

i used to keep smile when i talked to friend or coworkers in my daily life.but i didn't when i face computer.actually,i have to use computer more than 10 hours everyday,i think most of people did so,and what the face look very hard to smile.what they look just one post mostly.smiles will lose day by day if people don't care about their smile to others.

Hi uniquestar! I do enjoy using emoticons. Most of the time I do used them but just like you I am also careful in choosing the emoticons. They might be misinterpreted or may be viewed differently from the way I intended it to be. I have already used the happy, sad, lol, angry, woot, thumbs up, confused, shocked, blush, wink, roll eyes, cool, whistle, surrender and ninja. Goodness, I have practically used most of the emoticons already! But the happy, lol, wink, thumbs up and woot are the ones I use most of the time!

I DON'T HATE BUT ONLY DISLIKE EMOTICONS
I used; bold, italic and underline. Others I dislike to use unless at the last part of my sentence to one discussion. It effects my DIW(Discipline In Writing), where, our discussion also be read by outsider through SEO(Search Engine Optimization) which listed our discussion link on search pages.

I use quite a bit. I also seem to use or , mostly on the Political board where you usually agree or disagree with the discussion...there usually is not an in between. There are several others that I use often but I can't post them because of the limit.

Hey there! I love using smileys too. I love the lol smiley. It's the one that I use the most. Thumbs up, happy, and sad are one of the smileys I usually use.

I dont know from where and how we can post smileys on mylot, i have tried ways lot in codes to send smileys but never succeeded, i am mad for them. when i chat in yahoo i always use smileys a lot. i have explored all the hidden smileys too. if not i make diffrent codes and try them someties they turn out to be something ....lol..
rest over here i am trying since i joined it..please help me with this if possible..

I sometimes use the happy, lol, and thumb up emotes.
i didn't know that there is only 3 times limit of using the emoticons. i thought we could use them for as long as we want... well, although i don't think one will use more than 5 emoticons in one response.

I use smileys if I'm in the mood. I may have used around 15 of myLot's smileys. I may be using more in the future but I don't think I'll be using all the current smileys.
There were times I am tempted to use to mean "I feel like puking". I have been wishing they have this crying smiley too. I did not use before but I will revert to it if I want to say I'm hiding. It will be great though if myLot will add more smileys.

I love the smileys! As a matter of fact, I think the 200 post milestone allowing the use of smileys has more impacted my posting than when i passed the 500 mark, which I have yet to really do anything with. I think the smileys are fun and I've used most of them already. The only ones that I haven't used are the and the , but now i can't say that anymore, lol.1 person likes this
