Even with the collection of about 150 movie DVD's I have on my shelves,I've never sat and watched as many as 5 of them consecutively ..even those that would have the required number of sequels..the best I've ever managed in that way has been binge watching compilation DVD's of series' that I've enjoyed and bought.."Firefly",the "Battlestar Galactica" re-imagined Miniseries,Series 1-4 of the X-Files,Alias.....And there haven't been any 5 consecutive movies on any satellite movie channel I get that I'd want to sit through!

I was thinking-At an average of about 90 minutes per movie, that's 7 and a half bum numbing hours sat in the one spot at a time (not counting breaks?) I fly to visit family in the US from time to time,and THOSE flights average 7 hours...Your son gets my vote as the ultimate movie fan (if not Couch Potato of the Year!

I would go nuts if I watched more than one movie in a day. I rarely watch even a couple in a week. I record them so I can get up and move around while pausing the movie. I just can't sit still that long!

Once a year I see 5 in one day. AMC theater does a special event where they show all 5 of the best picture nominated movies back to back in a day. I go every year to see this. This year it was over 12 hours. We watched films from 10:30am-11:30pm. We had a few breaks of course, but still that is a lot of movie watching.

When I was young I use to go to MOVIE'S TILL DAWN at the local drive-in it was fun it started at 7pm and ended when the sun came up u could see at least 5 movie's that nite if they cut out alot of the intermission's..
So me I am a movie nut i will download movie's from frostwire.com and watch them all weekend it's a cheap thing to do and it's a paid site and I don't burn the movie's to sell so it's legal when you pay for them..

I can watch movie continuously as long as I find them interesting. But I think I won't be able to see more than three.

mypersonal record is 2 days and 1 night, i belive i have wached to "Heroes", of coures after that i have slepp 1 day and 1 night, i belive it depends from person to person and if u have problems with your eyes is another impediment
