Hi, we are so lucky nowadays as most of our purchases, utility payment, bank activities could be done through internet. But how much you trust them when you are doing so? I would say my confidence level is about 70%, I still doubt on some website if they are some companies that I never heard before. I rather choose not to try on those websites and do some usual, manual way instead. How about you?

i rather like to pays my monthly bills in person if i can that way i know they are paid and i can get a receipt for them like the phone bill where i pay ours it goes into the system that day but stuff like credit card payment i get a money order from my bank that way i feel safer baout sending it through the mail. because i have had money stolen from my mailbox before and it was someone i worked with and knew very well so now i dont trust very easily.

oh, sorry to hear about that. If you think the website you could pay monthly utility bills is trustable, give it a try. And remember to check immediately your account balance after doing so. I have good experience paying bills and buying products using credit cards with reliable websites. You could save time and effort if those good websites could help. :)

hiii dear friend i trust internet...But not all the sites..Now i am being using the Paypal..This is a most trusted website and also many of the international sites are using the paypal as their transcation...So consider the most popular sites like rapidshare and also any other sites they are keeping their payment process as paypal...So i would like to use Paypal and also the Alertpay...But in my country Paypal users are more than the Alertpay...Because paypal will process money directly through our bank accounts..Happy mylotting my dear friend..have a nice day..keep smiling..

I used to really mis-trust online transactions but it has become so common that I now purchase online more than I thought I ever would. The ice breaker I think was the incredible deals I got buying from pricewatch.com and online purchasing was the only way to buy from them. I am still careful though, I have a separate bank account for my online transactions. I have it linked to paypal so I can use their service and I also have a visa debit card so I can make online credit card purchases. With this account being separate I can control the balance and not leave important funds in it to be at risk when I do not need them. I can transfer money to and from this account as needed without risking my main account information online. I still do not like to pay bills online although my bank has this service.

The only bills I pay online are the major ones - phone, water, electricity, credit cards. I look at my bank balance and my credit card balances every day so if I have a problem I will know it immediately. So far I have not had any problems with companies taking money twice or not taking at all. Until that day comes I will use the internet for my monthly transactions. It makes my life so much easier that I don't have to write a check and remember to put it in the mail every month. I absolutely love paying online!

Me too. When I made the online transactions few times on the new website, I will check my credit card or bank account ASAP to make sure it is really charging what it should and no fraud case. Luckily, all went well so far! :)

I trust most online transactions fine. So long as I use common sense and don't just fling my details around willy nilly, then I don't see there's anything to worry about. In the event my details ever fell into the wrong hands, I'm protected up the wazoo by credit card security and insurance anyways, so I don't really care.

In fact I do not even trust what I find on the internet. I try to be very careful and only go to be very famous and very popular. It is always a risk of fraud and that is before you leave and general banking information must be done very carefully. Let's say that I trust enough, but caution is never too much!.

There are two keys for me: -Use paypal as much as possible. -Read the terms, privacy of the sites, as well as the estimations from the others, then discuss with my bank assistant to see if it's a risky transaction. My confidence is based on real proofs.

Hmm well we should be really proud that we could able to do any sort of purchases or transaction through online itself by sitting in our place. But the thing is how much we really trust those sites. Yes as you said its really only few of the sites are well secured for online transaction and these sites can be verified using https:// protocol based sites or else the transaction verified thru security sites such as Verisign like that. So hereafter try to verify these sites are really secured before doing any online transactions.

l don't trust internet transaction 100%. l just use it when lm in urgent state. Especially, when time is running-out. Most of the time, l still prefer to do manual way. It is more safe as you are the one who handle all the cash-in and out. Where else, internet transaction involves, third party to helps you handle those transaction. You can't see the real transaction, just can see the balance of your accounts.
