Whenever I noticed a cat or a dog running its life, I couldn't help staring at him or her for a moment! It is interesting! Also, I would like to say hello to them! Three months ago, I received two big cakes, which I had never really like! So, I shared one with my friends! Well, the other one should be make full use of. At the time, I remember that there was a homeless cat wandering at the med. scool gate everyday! To my great surprise, he was eating grass days ago! Bet he might be pretty hungry So, I just took the big cake to him or her!You know, he fell to with ravenous appetite as soon as I put the cake there. Then, I left! The next day, the cat was totally missing! Is he eating to death? Oh my gosh! To be honest, whenever I remembered the thing, I felt guilty! Do you like cats or dogs, why?

I have always preferred cats. I suppose that I leaned toward cats when I was a child because they were always more cuddly than the dogs that we had. Now that my husband and I are retired, We both agree that a cat is better for us than a dog. Should we decide to go visit our son for a couple of days, we could just put out sufficient dry food and water and make sure the litter box is clean before we leave. Our cat can stay in the house and entertain himself. Should we decide to stay longer, we just have to ask a neighbor to come in daily to clean the litter box and make sure he has food and clean water. A dog would have to be exercised as well as fed and watered. Also, dogs tend to mope or bark excessively when left alone. Another thing that we do not like about dogs is the fact that they can ruin a yard. They dig holes and make paths in the grass where they run alongside the fence. They lie down in the garden or flower bed and smash things. The worst thing is the barking. Even our neighbor's little teacup size dog yaps constantly whenever they put her outside. We like peace and quiet.

Haha, I couldn't help chuckling! The dogs tend to dig holes? That's so interesting though! I didn't pay close attention to them! But sure, the are always barking, which are boresome, really! Take care

Yes, dogs dig holes when left in the yard alone or with another dog. If they are not trying to dig under the fence to get out, they are digging to make a cool spot to lie down.

Cats and dogs eat grass because it makes them sick, it's their medicine, it helps them to flush out the poisons or other toxins in their bodies, it's not like they can go into the chemist and get something to treat them LOL! Cats and dogs shouldn't eat human food as it can upset their digestive system, especially cake, I know cats and dogs do, but some foods are especially too rich for their stomachs to handle. I am more a cat person, I have one cat now, but when I was living with my ex we had four cats, they are very independent and don't need walking, and in the UK if dogs do their business you have to pick it up, which puts me off, but needless to say I am not keen on dogs to be honest.

It is not unique but as a double. Haha, thanks for your great information! I know more about the cats now! Well, I gotta go now! Have a great day!

I love both cats and dogs. I've had many of each in the past, but right now I just have three dogs. Dogs are always happy to see you and seem to know when you're feeling down. Cats are more independent, but it's so much fun to watch their antics! I think we had a cat living under our deck this winter, and I'm wondering if there won't be a family of kitties before long!

I personally prefer dogs to cats. Dogs are more lovely than cats when they are fat enough. It feels comfortable when you are combing their hair. They are cute and bright. They are tame enough to salute you when you get home. They never fail to guard the owner's house.

I like them both but my life is most condusive with dogs. We have English Mastiffs and that is some big dogs. They are sweet. They have their own personalities and they are very protective of us and our kids. We truly enjoy them. They have become members of our family.

i don't have any pets right now but i have always preferred dogs than cats. i don't like cats so much because they can be very noisy at times. i like dogs because i find them cuter, and they are loyal to their owners. anyway, i think you are very kind because you are not cruel to animals. i also find it amusing and surprising that cats eat cakes...never knew they have a sweet tooth.

I love all animals but I especially adore cats. I have always had them while growing up and for years I lived in apartments that did not allow pets and I really missed having a cat or two. We live in our own house now, so we have two cats. I find cats so beautiful, enigmatic and smart; they have amazing eyes and I don't think it's true that they don't get attached to people, mine are very affectionate. We have a dog too and she's beautiful, a bit of a lunatic but lovely all the same. Last but not least we have a budgerigar named Bert which almost became lunch for one of the cats once, thankfully he's ok.

I personally like dog.dog is so lovable and can communicate with human being.dog is loyal friend and will never betray you.It is good to see my dog coming with its tail swaying after one day’s hard work.In addition,if child often plays with dog,he\she will become more compassionate.

i prefer dogs compare to cats and i don't know why... may be it is because i never raise a cat before but i had raised a dog in the past... so that makes me feel that i love dogs more than cats... but both of them are cute... take care and have a nice day...

This is a tough one! I'll tell you I like both of them! But I really can't decide on which one. Cats are generally cleaner than dogs so if you're a clean person you might favor a cat as a pet. Dogs aredifferent than cats but I love them both so I could never decide which one to pick.

I don't mind them either way. I don't go out my way to pay around with a cat or dog if it's their in my company though. I don't have any pets at home as sometimes it hard enough to look after myself, never mind an animal. What i do believe is that cats and dogs should be given a proper home and not treated in some ways that others treat them. That's why i wouldn't like to have one as if i did, i wouldn't give it a decent life as i work quite long hours.

I'm definitely a dog person. I think cats are kinda lazy and mean. Dogs just seem more personable and loyal in my opinion. Plus I'm allergic to cats :P But I do think kittens are cute.

This was actually a debate topic in my class, "Are dogs better pets than cats?" I was on the cat side, and said that : 1. you dont have to constantly take cats for walks - and cats dont drag you through the dirt on a walk to chase another cat 2. you dont have to bathe cats 3. cats dont wake you up in the middle of the night howling at the moon
