I love digital scrapbooking. Most of the time when i feel bad, I scrapbook and realize that it actually removes the hard feeling and eventually makes me feel lighter. Do you think its therapeutic?

Nothing beats the real thing though. The scent of the fabrics and papers. The sound of cutting and feeling of pasting. The intimate relationship between the creator and the project. The fact that you know you have to have imagination before proceeding because you know you can't delete or undo what you've done. Hehehe... The amazing feeling of satisfaction once you finish it. Scrapbooking is just amazing. I can't really compare it to digital scrapbooking though. But to each his/her own.

You're right laydee, the original one is the best, however, i have pictures piling up in my computer already and don't know what to do with them hehehehe. So i thought of doing scrapbooking digitally, much better than just doing slideshows with the picture. :-)

I dont know if it is therapeutic but it does bring my stress levels way down then what they are and it calms me down. My momma doesnt understand why i fiddle around with scraps and my software (Hornil StylePix) all the time, and i cant talk to her about it because she just doesnt get it.

To me, digital scrapbooking is one of the most therapeutic activities that there is. I realize that there is a much larger community of traditional scrapbookers, but I tried it and realized that it just isn't my thing. I found that when I was traditonally scrapping, I was more tense. I was worried that I would mess something up and that I would go through way too much money. As a digital scrapbooker, I can cast those fears aside. I don't have to worry about the cost of the supplies because I can reuse them over and over again. I can take out my feelings on the screen and make myself feel better. I just love everything about it. By finding this personal destressor, I have found that my life is a lot happier than it was in the past. Not only that, my children will both have a complete history of their lives when they get older.
