I posted a discussion the other day about my husband's Aunt's cat. Cali, seems to do a lot of meowing at night, and my husband's aunt was not getting any sleep. She has to sleep on a breathing machine, and she was really stressed from lack of sleep. She decided that she wanted Cali put to sleep, Cali is about 16 years old. She called my husband to find a place that would do it. I thought this was a horrible solution, and did not want the cat put to sleep. My husband went to pick the cat up and take it to our vet. He had already called the vet and she said to bring Cali in. After about three hours, my husband came home and had Cali with him. The vet had examined Cali, and said that she could not put a healthy cat to sleep. So, now Cali is at my house, I already have two cats. The first night, Cali cried some, because of course she was in a different environment, but she hasn't cried since. My two cats are not very happy with the new overnight guest. I tried contacting a no kill shelter, but they have not responded and no one answers the phone. I really can not keep Cali, but I want her to be safe, and most of all ALIVE. Everyday, my husband's aunt is calling to see how Cali is. DUH, you wanted her dead a couple days ago. Any ideas or suggestions or comments will be appreciated.

It has been a few days since you posted this. Any new on what is being done with the cat? It is a shame that your husbands aunt does not want her anymore after 16 years.
