Free songs every Tuesday on iTunes

Every Tuesday I check out the free songs offered each week on iTunes. It is only 2 or 3 and different genre each week. I have found some really great songs from artists I have not heard before checking out the free song. In fact, a couple of the artist that were featured for free I have later bought some additional songs from them.(which I am sure that is the whole point of the free song!) If you have iTunes you should check it out if you have not before. How many of you do this already? I look forward to it each week.

I had to idea that on Tuesdays they give out free songs. I will have to check on that next Tuesday to see what songs they have. I'm glad you have started this discussion because i now know i can get songs for free and that is kinda important because paying for songs all the time kinda gets expensive. I will be looking forward to getting some free songs from Itunes. Enjoy Mylotting

You do not have to wait till next Tuesday. It is every Tuesday that they change the new "free songs" but they are available all week long. I guess I did not make that clear, sorry. You can preview and some I don't get but if I am unsure I get it and listen to it for awhile then decide if I want to keep or not. I hope you are able to find some that you do like from time to time.

I don't use itunes because I was already using the Windows Media player and it's a different file format or at least it used to be. I do download songs from Walmart which also has free songs to download though I am not sure of the frequency and it is only one song at a time. I may have to start checking out itunes more often than just when I get those free cards they give away at live events.

I didn't know that! I just emailed my son and told him about it, I bought him an iPod for Christmas. I don't have an iPod myself, they are too expensive to buy and to buy songs for but my son loves his. Thank you!

They just feature a few and usually by unknown or not very well known artists but it is still fun to check it out. I really like the podcasts which are free also on many topics from current event, history, crafts, science and the list goes on. They are in audio and video. You should have him check it out. Thank you for your response.

Wow... I still didn't know that there are free songs on iTunes. Thanks for sharing this information. Surely, I will be checking it on the said schedule. So how many songs do they give each genre? And maybe these songs are from the new artist that still promoting their songs to the mass.

There is just 2 or 3 songs and they choose different genre every week. These change every Tuesday but are available all week long. Mostly from new artist but I did a Christmas song from Faith Hill, Tony Bennett and Harry Connick Jr. last year so that was fun. Thanks for the response. Have a happy day!
