How is it possible that so many have nothing and so many have way too much?
Why is it that those who have so much more then they would need in 3 lifetimes wont share with those who have not enough even for a day?
I am completely confused by all the talk of recession and depression why there are those with 7 cars..3 homes.. 2 boats..and thousands of clothing in their wardrobe.
How is it possible that we are suffering so much in our economy and rich folks don't all decide to open their wallets and share some of their excess.
It's too much for me to understand!!

its called life unfortunatly,
their will always be rich people and poor people and everyone in between,
I have no problems with the rich keeping their money if they have worked for it, its their money they dont have to share it.
Tho I really hate the people who are rich and are rich thru inheritance or those who havent worked to get to where they are now those people should share their wealth abit as its only luck that they are where they are today.

to a certain degree yeah i agree, but I also dont think they should be hand outs,
I have people where I live who have never worked a day in their lives and are living of hand outs to a level where they dont have to work.
That to me is wrong,
tho in a indirect way I am giving my money to these people in benefits I pay tax so everyone who is paying taxes is paying for the poorer people or the people who dont work even if they dont want to work.
Richer people should share their wealth to a certain degree, but some people not everyone I hasten to add,
dont want to work because they dont have to

Have you looked at what the billionaires and millionaires do for charity? They do give and they give abundantly. It might not be the charities that we give to but most of them are giving. The only difference between us and them is that they worked harder and smarter.

not so.. some are born into money and never have to lift a broom..If I ever was rich I wouldn't want anyone doing all my work..for me

Many, if not most, of the rich do give to charity so they do share with those who are truly in need. If you're suggesting that those who can afford it shouldn't be allowed to have 7 cars...3 homes...etc...I would have to disagree with you on that one. If, through hard work, dedication and a little bit of luck, you end up earning a lot of money, you should have every right to spend it as you choose. No one has the right to *take* from someone else, no matter how tough the economy is.

Well conservatives would call that socialism and you and I would call it something else lol.
I guess when the rich start feeling the recession we will then start calling it a depression.
