Yesterday I went to Home Depot to pick up a garden tool kit they had on sale and when I went in they asked me to fill out this survey thing when I finished. Well I usually don't even mess with the things but seeing as the line was slow and long and I had to stand there and wait, I half filled it out checking this and that not really paying attention to what I was doing. I dropped it in the box when I left and they called this morning. I won!!!!! I won a $500.00 shopping spree at Home Depot! I am so excited! I never win things. Admittedly I feel a little bad because I didn't take that survey serious at all!
I was just killing time while I waited. As a matter of fact I almost didn't put my phone number on it because I didn't want a bunch of annoying calls!
It was a $500.00 gift card that has to be used within 6 months. Have you won anything lately? What would you buy with a $500.00 gift card from Home Depot?

Congratulation, it is now 3 weeks so I know you probably have found a way to use your gift card. Thanks for sharing, if I have that chance I will use it. From now on I will be filling out surveys and hope I am blessed with the fortune you just encountered.

Well I haven't won anything lately but they don't do that aroiund here at our home depot. now if I won a 500.00 gift card from home depot I would get the back patio refinished with new brick and do some spring cleaning and home improvement that I feel needs done like fresh paint here and there new patio furniture and as I said new patio pavers. LOL! It would be really nice if you know what I mean.

wow congratulations. I would have to fix my side door how I want it and then take care of my backyard to where I can walk back there and not get attacked my itchy skin.

Thanks. I went yesterday and they had a really nice patio set on sale so I've already started! LOL I think I will use the rest to update my kitchen. Thanks for the response!

Wow! That's great and awesome. I haven't won anything that big before in my life. You are lucky to win five-hundred dollars gift card. What will you buy with your five-hundred dollars gift card? Me? Oh that is great! Congratulations. I love to fill out surveys online and through in store promotions. I have earned a $20 gift card from Lowes that way. I would love to buy a new washing machine or at least put $ toward a new washing machine with that$500! What have you decided to buy with your gift card?

I opted for the outside! LOL I bought me some new lawn furniture and some flowers. Actually the Patio I got was on sale for $299 so thatlest me some to decorste with new flower pots and flowers! Thanks for the response!

Congradulations to you. No I have not won anything latley.
Well what I would buy is new things that I need around the house. Or redecorate a new room.
Do you need tools or new tools for any thing around the house. Are you tired looking at a room that may need redone in your home.
Do you need some plants or more gardening tools. or garden objects for your yard. they have appliances also.

I do not like to get surveys by phone, but there have been a couple of surveys from our Superstore and also from Futureshop and I have been too busy to fill them in. I guess that from now on, I had better check my cash receipts from now one. I might get a pleasant surprise.

I don't like getting those phone calls either. That's why I hesitated to start with. I'm thnking of either updating my kitchen or doing an outside makeover. The weather has been so nice I have Spring Fever really bad! LOL Thanks for responding

Congratulations, fasttalker, on your good fortune with the survey! I'm of two minds when it comes to surveys - more often than not they are a waste of time, but there are some that are rewarding. I recall when I first began using the Internet and I signed on for just about every survey site I could find.It didn't take me long to realize that I was wasting my time because the rewards were practically non-existent. I still do some of them when they are sent to my home in the mail, but I am now very selective. I think I could find lots of things to buy at Home Depot with a $500 gift card because they have a wide variety of merchandise there. I am not lucky at all when it comes to winning anything.

Normally I'm not lucky at all! And like you I am pretty selective but I figured since I had time while waiting why not? I'm sure glad I did! LOL Thanks for responding!

Congratulations!! That is great! I am doing a lot of home improvement projects so it could pay for several things. I always do the surveys, if I have the chance. I have not won anything from any but keep trying. You are proof that it is worth it.

Wow.. that is incredible. You are so lucky. I always thought those things were lying. I guess I don't have any reason to think they are lying...I feel kind of dumb now, I have passed by so many times and never bothered with them after I did one once when I was young and thought for sure I would win and didn't I have become embittered toward them I guess haha. Yay for you though!

First of all let me congratulate you.
I have never won something like that. Let alone a gift card of $500, I have never won something of $5.
I wish something like that is in store for me as well as I have a lots of things to buy.

Well Home Depot is one of the fewplaces I don't hav any debt to! LOL So at least I can spend it on new stuff!

You are lucky and congrats. Luck favors some in some placed. When you get free 500$, you can fulfill a reasonable desired that you kept waiting for right time.I for one would buy an apple iphone which is a good cell phone as well as media player or blackberry. You can do a lot with free dollars 500.

That's awesome! If I was you I'd probably spend it to fix up my room or living room because that's where I spend most of the time. You might as well have it hooked up nicely.
